Trouble with .Dem's

WHen I try to view a .Dem file I recieve the error---Setup file'gameinfo.txt doesn't exist in subdirectory 'hl2'. Check your -game parameter or VCONFIG setting.
I accessed my HL2 file and the file does not exist. Should I just do a reinstall? I have no idea where the file went.

demo needs 2 be in the cstrike folder.

Just get CSE Demoplayer and you can double click the demo to open :wtg:

fucking rapid share makes me wait 5 min 2 download it... and I end up with the German version! BAH!

Does it matter though b/c it is not as though you actually use the program window other than to select your steam folder when you first install it.

when I double click a demo with it, it just opens up the program, and I have 2 click browse, find the demo, then click it. so not sure why it's working like that.
