i have notice that the auto kick for ping is not working. i was playin on gg and wcs someone had 300 ping.

What was the difference between his ping and that of the lowest players ping. The new ping system is relative to the user with the lowest ping. So lets say the limit is 250 and the user with the lowest ping is 50 than users up to 300 are permitted. Also note that due to advances in rate configuration it is now possible to support higher pings with out the hit registration problems that existed previously at those same values. :wtg:

there was someone in the pub today with 400 ping and lagging out like crazy. no one could kill him due to hit boxs being out of wack for him. it was annoying and i left. this needs fixing :(

I have a usual ping of 10-30 and someone on the wcs had one of 380+. Was annoying and it did not kick them. On the zm one was at 500-600 the other day and the highest to that was about 180.

Do you know what the lowest ping of a player was at the time? This can help me identify if it is not working or is not configured correctly.

I have personally had 800+ ping recently(internet issues that day) and no one else had anywhere near that and i was not kicked.

On GG earlier tonight the lowest ping was single digits and a guy made it to 700+. He was talking to us and explained it was just a lag spike but it lasted for a few minutes. We had to votekick him because it was impossible to hit him.

it was me..i had 17 ping 23ms via net graph, next person with the lowest was 31 that i saw.

I guess its a good thing i have a mac then, connection wise, i average under 80 latency/ping

What is funny is he would probably have like 30ms ping if he was not on a mac...

Has the configuration been changed to fix this? I'm seeing players with 500+ ping causing the server to lag while 90% of the server was under 100. This has occured on both Gun Game and Zombie Mod. I just came from ZM and this one guy was causing random lag with an average of 300 ping and was not being kicked. The highest was 502 and that was when it started lagging.
