Admin abuse in a Server that I usually like but probably wont play no more

How did he/she abuse (See TOS):banning for ignoring admins without proper warning

Proof (Proof is NEEDED in order to report abuse, if the abuse contains admin commands and chat only a date and time is needed; however, a screen shot or console copy is helpful):read below long story but well detailed and explained

Hey guys I wanted to post in this thread to give a little insight into what happened to me and how a certain female was abusing her powers as Admin lets keep names out of this(Autumn).

I usually love playing on your guys servers I only play gungame when I play CSS and I only have 3 servers or my favorites list of and I tend to play yours more than other lately. That being said the server is great love playing it but ran into a raging power mongering female with a tool that she should have never been given the right to ban. If anyone was there they would state that I cam in late to the whole ordeal between her and Nemesis I heard Autumn state over the mic "If you say it again I'm gonna ban you." I wish I had my mic on at the time but after that I heard 2 other players say you cant make up rules like that. I typed in "What bullshit is she spreading" probably not the nicest thing but definitely not worthy of being banned. Then three other people said over the mic you obviously came late to what happened, and then they stated that she doesn't like Nemesis and that's why she is going to ban him. I then typed "that's why women shouldn't have admin," whilst two others were stating it was her time of the month and other sexist remarks that I frankly don't disagree with but never through anything else out there that sexist. I was then banned. Having just joined the server, typing two small not that mean messages, not even getting a chance to spawn for the first time and I was banned without out warning. At first I was forget this server I don't care if it's a temp or perma ban I am not going to play on that server ever again even if they gave me admin(just stating I don't want Admin).

Then I saw you have your see reason why you were banned at Ibisgaming.com, I then thought back to my job in which I'm in customer support and employed buy a pretty well known computer hardware company. Where Admin powers cannot be taken lightly nor abused for many reasons, as well as customer relations have to be the best around. This being said I figured you know what lets give this a second chance but Only if the proper person is given a fair warning on their different admin issues they may or may not have. Upon review of my ban on your site I though what a wonderful system but then looked and saw the notes for my ban and it said "Ignoring Admins". I see this and think WTF I was never warned I heard Nemsis' warning but he only got a 30 min ban and I was given a 1 hr, and there was never one directed at me nor did I even fully hear what the problem was with Nemesis in the first place there got to be something wrong here. Nemesis may or may not have deserved his ban but I don't feel that I did.

Upon checking the website browsing your forums for 1 min I found a admin abuse post right off the bat I read in to it and the issue sounded sort of similar to mine and then another community member said something along the lines of oh yea that was Autumn and made it seem like it was not uncommon which I find bull shit. Then I see here reply oh poor me you guys don't have any faith in me other stuff like that guy was a asshole and other stuff like that. I see that her picture is a picture of a women that is younger that is not horribly ugly. I see that if she has admin and is allowed to get away with this type of stuff then I only assume she got it because she is a women and you people either thought you couldn't say no to her or you like or some other type of stupid reason. So can someone please justify why she has admin or prove to me that my time on your servers is wasted because I definitely don't want to play on your servers if your admins are going to act like that.

Ok, first off....we don't offer Administrative powers to anyone for any reason unless they actually pay for it. Anyone can subscribe to become an admin as long as they pay 11 dollars a a month for it......

Second, she has been here a long time and yes we have had problems with her before but guess what, she is still here in the community as an admin.

Third, Nemesis can sometimes be an asshole of a player but is fun to play with. Hes like Jekyll and Hyde.....One day hes cool as shit and other days hes your worst enemy.

Now, I have not seen the demo yet, but of course this will reviewed. But like Zero said, look for the demo ftp://208.43.70.233/

Yes that is the right demo I guess things when down a little differently than I remember but if you actually what the demo I didn't join until 10:04 or something like that I guess I did have my mic I don't remember that and I guess I did spawn but ironically I was banned after I killed Autumn also listen to what the others say after I was banned the all said you banned Bryan for what? And I couldn't find any bit of a warning directed towards me or any hint of a ban coming up. Also through out the whole Demo she seemed to be raging on everything. Gladd to hear that, you the power admins if I could say that, have a way of backing yourself and checking up on this type of thing. Like I said before I love your server usually but that really ticked me off that you have a admin doing this.

Fair enough saying that it was pretty sexist, some have their own views on that not trying to start a war on sexism here stating I was never given warning nor was bashing any further than the fact that the way things went down for me and only assuming that the other guys that were getting bannedfor her doing the same thing as well as the way she talked to other people throughout that demo its sounds like you have some pretty moody admins, i usually have all the fun in the world on your guy's server some times I get a little loose with the N-Word but thats how I am I have never been banned for it. And i don't even think its too far fetched to say that if a women is going to act like a little girl and "PMS" women shouldn't have admin. Community is behind her back I know where I stand funny how no one was behind her back in the other thread. I probably should have read into your server structure to see that you can pay for admin before I went assuming. A little late at night(or early in the morning 3:00) a we bit on the dizzy side, and pretty pissed, but after that I was rubbed pretty dry. Things happened a little differently yes being completely often but that was really wasn't like it was a lie everything was correct but as i said there are two sides of every story and there is somewhere where the reality meets in the middle.

After reviewing the demo the real problem is what occurred to you and is mainly an issue of the length of ban. You should not have been banned for more than 10min for that. From what I could see from the demo you were in the server for long enough to grasp the situation which during you made a comment that undermined an admin and disrespected them at the same time. An admin can ban you in conditions like this when there are a few players at the same time causing problems. If it had been just you by yourself you would have gotten a warning and or been muted.

It is like when the police are arresting someone, in many cases anyone who gets too close to the arrested is also arrested. This is because during this time the primary function is to reestablish order. You have 1-2 players that are not listing to an admin and then a 3rd one jumps in and says something like that they are going to get banned.

Now the one issue I do see could be that the admin did not know how long you had been in the server. This is likely why you did not get any warnings b/c they assumed that you were in there when general warnings were being issued.

I understand the I guess guilty by association and I would not have been to mad if it was ten min like you said, I was pissed for a bit. Realistically I still haven't heard back from anyone if this is common nor uncommon for her other than that other post. Someone please clarify that for me, I wouldn't doubt it because it seems that most people gang up on her because she is a female and she does stuff like that, and the way she speaks about the server I have heard her before say that the server is "fucking shit" which I find weird if she thinks that and she pays for admin.

also, it just seemed like Toasties was in a bad mood, banned 5 or 6 people, not all that big of a deal unless it's made into one.

Bryan, i would say dont let one bad experience ruin your image of the server, it's a decent place to play.
