can anyone point out why my skill has dropped 1300 pts in the last day?

aug 24 - 15:17 to 15:39. it was up at 17,300 and now its 16,000. its not like i've been suckin ass or anything

You also have to keep the wins going above 16000. Playtime without wins is a BIG rank dropper.

and i've won 3 or 4 times in the past 2 days. i remember i checked my stats 3 or 4 days ago and my win% was 13.3, now its 13.98

yeah it seems like it's subtracting instead of adding...i was ranked ~15 now im 84? back in the day (few months ago) i was in the top 3 :( booooo. its done been borkeded indeed.
There is nothing that can really be done. The pyschostats version that is used for gungame is very outdated and there is no support for gungame on newer versions. :banghead:

aww man. that was a real self-esteem killer. but hmm...i wonder if i go on there and go 0-30 enough...i could be #1!
no it is more random of a problem than that. I have been working on making an update for the new versions of ps to support gg. I have also offered to pay someone for it but no one jumped on the offer.
So in the future a new stats system will replace this one and your old data will be reprocessed. :wtg:

woo my skill dropped 5000 points without even playing!
Yea from the server logs it looks like the stats calculations on the gg server blew the top of the server off. It was at 1000% cpu usage and ate the ram until it ran out. This then resulted in the present values. I am still doing a lot of work for my dad right now so until I get his company fully running things are delayed. But I will be getting some sort of custom programed replacement out that will reprase all your old logs eventually.

i played gungame for about an hour and a half the other day. no wins :( close though. i noticed psychostats didn't even record my session.

OK now I see what is going on. There has been no new data since the 1st. I am updating the ftp settings to see if that fixes it. So far it is taking a long time to load so that is a good sign that it is downloading the last week of logs. :wtg:
Yep like I figured it was trying to go and read the logs from a year ago. Basically it was looping itself. :banghead:

looks like its going but im still mourning the loss of 5000 points for no reason :( oh well i'll get em back
Ok finally had to go into the database and remove all references to outdated log files. Now it is reading the logs starting from the last few days. It should now update properly. Note that in the future when I create a better stats system I still have a lot of the old logs so I will read them in as far back as I have records of. :wtg:

rofl nice. I have noticed that the stats have been working as well, I wanted to say Thanks again to zero on how much work and effort you put into the servers to keep them running and going smoothly:wtg:
