Upper Level Admin slots now open!

A new section has been added to the forums to accept Upper Level Admin Applications!

To qualify for upper level admin you must meet all of the following requirements:


Must have been an admin for at least 9 months total.
Must have had admin for 3 consecutive months prior to applying.
Must currently have admin.
Can not have been on probation or had powers removed in any of the last 9 months.
Can not have any guilty verdicts of abuse of any kind in the last 3 months.
You can only apply if and when there is a slot available. If you do not get in you must reapply every time a new spot opens.

We need Upper Level Admins that are highly active and are likely to stay around for a while. In addition this level of power is only rivaled by that of clan members. These positions dictate some high requirements.

Those are the dates you have had admin according to my records. Or is there something else I am forgetting. Remember guys if you have any questions about your ability to qualify please let me know :wtg:

As a very regular on ZM over the last year. I have to say if there is a waiver process it should be Blade.The most helpful and knowledgable admin that I have dealt with. I have no clue if there is one but a big +1 for him if there is.

Also if he got his powers stripped yet continued to pay, then he was still an admin, he just had no power.

So if you have not abused in the last 3 you can apply even if you had a pending punishment from a previous abuse that was still ongoing at that time. However, logically any past abuse can seriously effect your chances. Regardless we are evaluating applications on a lot of variables not just abuse histories.

Very cool concept. I hope some solid people step up. I would, but I dont know if I have the tenure, plus saving for a wedding. So its hard to justify the expense to the other half. :banghead:

2 questions.

1. I applied but i'm not 100% certain i've been an admin for over 9 months. Is there a way to check other than paypal? My paypal says October 11th 2010.

2. In the abuse thread part, should i add that i got banned once? It was long time ago on the previous WCS server when i got banned for hacking by Hitman but it was decided that i wasn't hacking.

On another note, Upper admins should get to use ibis.ua tag as their own :P

i qualify i do believe and im not leaving servers any time soon however i dont think i want the responsibility i used to want clan but im coming to a point where id rather just be a regular love the servers and stuff it just seems like its too much of a bother more than something to enjoy. >.< but who know when cs go is out things might change.

The upper level does not get any seniority. As stated they get to use admin on other admins when those admins are breaking rules and get to review demos and issue perma bans/unbans. They also get the perma ban button in the ingame menu.

i think that'd be fine for an upper level admin when he's in server. it's like regular admins->whose there the longest=senior. when an upper's in there he's always senior (among regular admins) unless a clan is in there, or another upper is there first, like with normal admins.

Most people enjoy jokes, but some admins can get really butthurt over little stuff, so let's keep the drama shows on TV and not on the forums :wtg:

Which is why there is such a big qualification list. Even though some people have the 9 months in they are and may not be ready to handle such a level of power :banghead:. I'm sure people with past history and childish antics will have tough scrutiny to pass. This position is no joke or fun and games. It should only be applied for if you are ready and willing and WANT to make sure the servers are held up to the standards they deserve. This is no title competition. If some other admin is caught abusing or doing stupid things, friend or not, they deserve what they reap. No "feelings" involved. If you can't do that, you may as well not apply. :smirk:

bane one of the points of upper admin is an admin that keeps other admins in line when they fuck up and can do something about it, as needed.

i agree that it shouldn't be taken lightly. it's an important responsibility that not many qualify for, and even some of those that do may not be appropriate for it. lets hope that the process the clan employs to select them works well.

steamer is absolutely right. an upper level admin needs to be able to lay down the law to anyone, even friends who are admin that may need to be set straight. if you can't do that then, despite the fact one may qualify in the other ways, is not fit to be in that spot if they can't do what steamer said.

Those who are selected for the position will be expected 2 Follow the rules 2 a tee at all times. upper lvl admins will be setting the standard for how other admins should be acting and will lead by example. using slap on all the other admins or screwing around when in the position of upper lvl admin will just make you lose it.

I dont qualify, and I also just stoped paying recently. Can not afford admin here, admin for clan, and MMO cost ontop of that.

However I do believe Toasties does qualify XD. Not a single one of her abuse threads lately have been guilty :lmao:
