Why did you order admin
I'll quote my first post regarding adminship-
"I started playing on your zombie servers a few weeks ago and I've been extremely impressed so far! I admit that my hours are weird, but I've only seen a couple admins online in those weeks. I decided to purchase admin to make sure server rules remain enforced and game play remains fun in those hours when there aren't usually admins online."
My primary reason for purchasing admin was simple- to keep game play fun for the players. My the secondary reason is to support the server monetarily. When I can afford it, even when I haven't been able to play for months at a time, I've set aside $11 a month for almost two years at this point. The community is very important to me and I want to do my part so that it is maintained to the high level of excellence that our members have become accustomed.
And yes- I started playing 4 days before I purchased admin. I was impressed and I still am.
Why do you want to be an upper level admin
I am a leader and I take initiative. I am honest, level headed and experienced. At one time or another I've been a resource of knowledge and consultation for many of the other applicants up for consideration. I initiated the Comprehensive Admin Command List; coming up with the format, updating it, and collaborated with our admin community to provide it as an important (and unique to our community) feature to new admins. I've reveiwed countless demos where close calls are made and weighed in. I've made official announcements informing the community of admins performing mass bannings (Walter, for instance) to facilitate the community understanding what we are doing to solve problems.
Most importantly I do my job and lead by example. And everyone reading this application knows that I have been doing the job of an upper level admin for a long time already and will always do the job of an upper level admin regardless of title. I believe every admin worth their salt should be doing it already.
Now as for potential concerns. I have not been terribly active the past months. That being said I lucked out by being able to play again when this system was being implemented. I have time to sit down and learn the new tools that have been provided to admins. Likewise, when comparing my ban history with other admins I've noticed I have a shockingly low amount over my tenure. I can't really account for it except in the fact that I rarely exercise the permanent ban feature. I'll suppose I'll have to leave it up to you to say if that's a good or a bad thing.
