could we have smoke grenades added to the zombie server? :x i think itd be fun lol...

Alright everyone you heard the man go out and buy $10,000 dollar computers. If you already have one well fuck buy another one.

But really it sucks we can have smoke grenades they would be life savers in some instances.... Oh well

Some pros......
Slight chance of throwing off noobish followers(very noobish....)
obstruct sight of teammates prying for your map secrets
blocking the view of zombies so that they walk into a trigger that kills them

Some cons.....
grieving other players by throwing a smoke at a choke point (escape and crouch spots)
intentionally lagging the server by mass smoking
lagging in general
grieving another player(s) trying to activate a map secret
grieving other humans by blocking their view so that they walk into a trigger that kills them

My conclusion: might not be the best thing on zm

I could see myself tossing a smoke nade at spawn and seeing how long i can last by standing in it.

The server already has enough issues as it is destabilizing it, I don't think adding another factor which could drop the any remaining stability it already has would be a good idea. The reason we are having stability issues is because SRCDS (Source Dedicated Server) was never made to handle all of the mods and applications its currently running, By adding more factors for it to handle your just giving it a earlier death.

guys, no.

interesting idea, but it would be not only pointless, but also dangerous for the server. there's next to no reward, and the potential for griefing is too high. same with flashbangs.

I agree with the no comments. I can see the guy now who smokes a cade, then breaks it and say I didnn't see it was a cade because of the smoke. It also would stop someone from seeing the person who is shooting your cade in. Use Beachstrike as an example. In the cage room 1 or 2 smoke grenades would make it so that you couldn't see the other small room across from you. Then when someone from across the way shoots at a zom, they are probally going to shoot your cade and have no idea they are doing it.:headache:

And it would be fun on escape maps since you can run through everyone, you throw a nade while in someone so it gets stuck in them and they can't move leaving them behind for the zombies to feed on. <.<
