Admin's INGAME name: Rezel
You're INGAME name: ^4Bullet^7Dodging^1Boris
Server: Zombie Mod+
Map: zm_fubar_towers_v4
Date & Time: 9/15/2011 16:20 EST

How did he/she abuse (See TOS):
!ztele'ing as a human is only a kickable offense (per Rules IV.1)A)(b), Punishment 1.1)). I was first banned permanently, before the ban duration was lowered to a full hour. No warning was given prior, nor was I kicked before the offense.

Proof (Proof is NEEDED in order to report abuse, if the abuse contains admin commands and chat only a date and time is needed; however, a screen shot or console copy is helpful):
Following is the console copy:
Rezel <ibis> : !ban dodging zteling 60

On accident my button key wouldnt type, and instead of an hour ban for zteleing away from zombies you got a permenant ban. This has been corrected, by now your ban is almost up.

why was I banned in the first place given a kickable offense?

Your ban was zteleing from zombies, also this isn't your first time in the server so you should already know the rules...

Bullet, you should know the rules by now though. You've been here for quite a while. You know better.

It was a split-second reaction in my defense. It shouldn't matter because A) the rules say differently and B) I play fair 99.99% of the time.

Rezel, I like how you removed this post I am quoting.

You need to go back and read the rules of your own server you're supposedly moderating. May I refer you to the following address: http://www.ibisgaming.com/forums/showthread.php/495-Server-Rules-1.7

Specifically, I quote, "[Kicks] Should be given out to players to break the rules and disrupt the game. A verbal and admin say warring should be given out in advanced of a kick," under the punishment section related to the offense in question.

Not only was I not given a verbal warning prior to the kick, or a kick prior to the ban, you banned me for an hour. A ban, being the worst punishment possible, does not constitute a warning and you know this. Can someone else rectify this, please.

It was a split-second reaction in my defense. It shouldn't matter because A) the rules say differently and B) I play fair 99.99% of the time. This must be that 1% percent, then. Also, your ban isn't even that long. You should be VERY lucky that he didn't ban you for like a day or so. Still, the rules do state that you have to warn first before banning.

Also, where is the god damn demo, dammit! :banghead:

you go on about the rules non stop but seem 2 forget the fact you broke them, and if you wana try and throw rule quotes around, read this

II. Understanding bypasses
Some rules allow for bypasses, this means that under some circumstances one type of punishment can be bypassed and a more sever one can be issued. For example violations of some rules may allow admins to skip a kick and go to a predesignated ban length instead. Another example would be bypassing a mute for a kick. Punishments that can be bypassed have a section stating what rule violations allow for bypasses. It is up to an admin to decide if they want to skip to a more severe punishment. Think of bypasses as an "or" statement for admins, when a user breaks a given rule they can punish with "this" or if it is on the bypass list they can punish with "something more severe"

you're not new 2 the server and have no excuse. quit your qq'ing and try following the rules from now on. also rezel did not edit any of your posts... if he did, at the bottom of your post it would say "last edited by Rezel" notice how it doesn't? yyeeahh...

closed. serve your ban. no abuse here, nor proof...

Also a split second decision to defend yourself should not involved something that breaks the rules. It is like saying well I only turned the aimbot on when I was about to die, it was a natural defense mechanism that I had no control over.
