i believe the server just got ddos'd by a guy named "sonilo". i saw his name continuously come up in chat like "Sonilo has joined the game" the name also seems familiar for some reason (i think a guy with that name used to play on ibis), so you may be able to find his steam id relatively easily.

it doesn't matter if he attempted to ddos the server, it wouldn't do anything. The server is hosted on a 10g line, if he attempted to ddos the server he would more than likely run out of bandwidth on his side be4 he even reached us.

yea, the attempted (or successful) ddos coincided with evil restarting the server. weirdly, restarting the server actually causes it restart/crash a few times as many of us have noticed, and it was after the 1st restart that this sonilo individual was attempting to join the game frequently and repeatedly, could just be a coincidence, but regardless, i am fairly certain that his actions were undertaken with malicious intent.

was likely a hack that laggs the server. Also the server reloads the map once when it first restarts to get the settings right :wtg:

Yeah. I restarted the server because it was lagging a bit. After the restart, a person named Sonilo joined like 20 times, which then crashed the server. Then the server came back up, but Sonilo joined and it crashed yet again. After that, everything was fine.
