How did he/she abuse (See TOS):mute with no warning

alot of people don't read chat, next time you should warn over mic and chat, then there's no way they'll miss it.

I don't use a mic. For my own personal reasons. And in the mess of people yelling at each other there would have been no way to hear. Chat is there to send it in writing. People should pay attention to chat since not all admins use mics as well. I shouldn't have to go get a mic to be admin and be heard. Let this be a lesson, pay attention to chat.

I've actually noticed that the center screen chat tends to disappear rather quickly. So if you post a warning, by the time people look to read it, it's normally already gone. Any way we can lengthen the amount of time it stays up? :wtg:

Taz has been warned many times not to argue the rules the way he does in the server. Instead of approaching things in a calm, collected manner he disrupts the server and starts yelling. His next step is to post an abuse thread if someone mutes or punishes him. His reasoning being that when he was admin people reported him for "bs claims" so he is going to do the same. I'd also like to point out that when Taz does quote the rules he does so incorrectly. For example, last night in WCS he went off on someone for warding spawn claiming that the other team has to wait "25" seconds before they can do so. This is not something we want going on because it will happen behind the admins backs and will have consequences. I know for a fact that even though I corrected him in the server and made sure everyone knew it was only 20 seconds, I will hear someone stating that it is 25 seconds later on. Of all people (having had admin at one point) Taz should know better than to throw his tantrums in the server. He knows he will be muted and still insists on wasting people's time posting BS admin abuse threads.

Yoshi did NOT abuse and was in fact extremely lenient. A few hour mute would have been reasonable as well (if not a temp ban).

Taz, I would say you know better but it's pretty apparent that all common sense eludes you.

edit: I do not use the microphone to administer any type of warnings as people usually talk over one another. Warnings over mic are also not stored in the chat/admin log. If you do not see my warning in chat then that is your fault and you will have to deal with whatever punishment is dealt.

Admins are not required to have mics; In fact I am all for having them use both admin chat and Voice chat as some people might not actually have any sound or hard of hearing. A voice warning is definitely a good way to get attention, but its also smart to give a typed in case they didn't hear you. This way you make sure that the warning was fully out there.

Further more I see no abuse on this thread.. it would be pointless to carry on. As there seems to be nothing more Which needs to be covered, I will close this topic.
