Multilayer clan tags?

Noticed under clan tags I can choose a list of tags? Why is that? are we allowed to pop them on, or is that for everyone to see in there options. If any of this makes sense:stupid:

Why would other people not have an option to pick your clan tag. Any group your in has a clan tag that can be chosen.

Clan Tags in your multiplayer options are tied to steam community groups. The "Short" name of your community is used as an in-game tag.

From there, common sense should tell you if you're in the community you can wear the tags.

Lol thanks dice, I couldn't explain it right but you did for me. So I can put the IBIS Regular tag on guessing?

You may use any tag that does not say just ibis or ibis.<anything> as people may misinterpret it as clan or admin.

nways, yeah u can use any tag you want as long as it's not IBIS or ibis.a (admin group i created) to avoid misleading nimrods on the server.

keep in mind that if at any time an admin in game tells you that your tag should be removed for any reason whatsoever, you do so immediately, and then ask about it here if you are not convinced by their ruling.
(for example, among other reasons: some clans are banned from our servers and if you were seen with their, you might get ur ass banned for having the wrong bumper sticker. shit happens.)
