Admin Abuse!

Hi all. Just gonna put this up.

Proof: Idk what exactly I'm supposed to put up as proof? I got a screen shot of being banned? Lol IDk how to work the Source TV...

Anyways, I just wanted to make a complaint. I'm not one to complain but unless it's a hacker I just notify one of the admins and leave it at that. I thought me and shady were fine... I don't hold grudges esp when someone admits when they are wrong... I was on nade and they were rushing so I went to the roof top on churches and my team go killed, that's where the extra nade was at, I wasn't camping just went up threw a nade and they rushed and I naded beemer and someone else. Then I get kicked 2 times and and each time I heard shady laughing just b4 i get kicked. Then we went to lego mafia and he puts up a vote ban and ppl voted to ban me. I think that's a lil harsh and it's not really funny. I am the type who loves to joke & tease and for whatever reason shady feels the need to single me out, out of all the admins I've been playing with on IBIS GG server I never have an issue with anyone. So, even though this might not go anywhere's I feel that shady hasn't let bygones be bygones and by doing this is to me is an example of admin abuse. But if I'm not wanted on the server then I understand and will go elsewhere's but if shady is gonna come on and abuse ppl he don't like then the respect for the server and it's players needs to reinforced by the head admins! Anyways thanks for u guys' time and it was a blast playing on IBIS... :)

For proof, you need to go to this thread: http://www.ibisgaming.com/forums/showthread.php/6434-Links-to-Demos

Then click on the Gungame server then find the date and map for when the abuse happened and download the demo then look it through until you find the abuse and then write at what tick it is and post the demo in your thread.




I assure you as soon as one of the upper level admins get a peek at it

Upper admins only work with the Ban requests and not admin abuse. Clan and Zero deal with it.

Ok thanks Xerenix... But I get an error: Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' doesn't exist in subdirectory 'hl2". Check you -game parameter or VCONFIG setting. I'm not sure what to do, but I dl'd the ftp gg and found churches and then I was gonna look at lego mafia next. Help? :)

You need to move the file.

My computer > C: > Program files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > your username > counter-strike source > cstrike


Save it there, then open the demo in game using shift+f2.

Thanks for u guys' help... But for now I'll let it go, Idk what to make of the situation with Shady... I thought we were cool but I hope this doesn't continue to happen. But for now I'll just let it slide, I know I got proof but I just like having fun & teasing ppl and gg'ing... So if it's ok with the admins you can either delete this thread or not but I don't feel like I need to pursue this any more. Hopefully this won't happen again and thanks for the help Penis & Xerenix! :) Oh & Smile! ;)

yes we had a vote which i was after which told we can not use vote ban which if thats the case it shouldnt be there. but i dont use voteban unless there are more than 3 ppl that say it was bullshit. u bitched and moaned the whole map about ppl camping church and how its cheap i agreed and said ok within first 30 u should not be by ur church me and u were on nade and i had been rushing to the top of ur church to get the double nade however beemer and another were ahead of me and u got the nade kill in 14 seconds on ur church ppl bitched i put the vote up and stated on mic were havin a vote before the vote was posted so the spam factor dont count as much still counts but hey. however it was only a 30 so u realize it was more of a hypocritical thing to do like i said i have no quarrel as a person ur a cool dude but i still hear alot of complaints about ya just wise up the game play and no worries :icon_mrgreen:

Demo shows mut rushing to grab the nade on the roof, the first time he does it he doesn't get the kill, but leaves the roof immediately. It shows he wasn't camping it at all. Then shady proceeded to constantly kick at the end of the map and laughing about it.

2nd demo, shady starts a vote to ban him because he is pissy about not winning, which results in muts 30min ban.


The problem is, none of the people that were actually camping their own church ever got a ban or any sort of punishment.

It is another case of the QQ's, but the admin was doing the QQ'ing, blatant abuse.

you do understand the rules right? At no point in time is it breaking them to be on your own church or casually camping your own church. So long as you are not holding up round progress and being obnoxious about camping.

Mikey I was comparing. Mut got a ban for just being on his church to grab the nade and throw, then get down off the church, but the people that were actually camping received no punishment.

It is obvious shady did this because he was mad about losing, the repeated kicks at the end of demo 1, then the 30min ban on the next map and him bitching about what happened and how it should have been his win.

this is a complete abuse on your end... it's clear you were just pissed off you lost.. and nothing more. he did not camp, he rushed the roof, hucked his nade, grabbed the other hucked that 1 and that's it. there was 0 camping on his end the entire map.

Camping is allowed provided it's not excessive and holding the game up

Verbal warning will be issued 2 shady as soon as he logs on.
