Unfair Ban

Hello, I have been playing in your servers for about 2 weeks or so. Never broke a rule and always try to get admins involved when someone is breaking the rules.
So today at about 4:30 pm(pacific) I was banned for a hour by Ryukatti with no warning,kick, or anything. Now the reason it says I was banned was for cadebreaking, this would make sense if I was a ct, but I was a zombie. I am pretty confused as to why I was banned for cadebreaking if I was a zombie. We were playing the map zm_penumbra_extended, and as a zombie I went chasing a human into the teleport and got stuck in the soda machine, and a human came to knifing distance so I stabbed him and he in turn stabbed everyone turning them into zombies. Now correct me if I am wrong, but I am not allowed to turn people into zombies if I am a zombie? I can wait the hour, but I am a little disappointed in the way this admin conducted himself, since this has been my #1 server for the past weeks. Please a higher up admin correct this action to avoid future results such as this with not only myself but other players, thank you.

I am aware it's only a hour, hence why I stated I can wait that, but I find it pretty unfair to banned wrongfully which is why I mention this to prevent further outcomes similar to this. I was also unable to open the demo, due to no program to open it and froze my program I thought I could use

demo's have 2 go into your CSTRIKE folder which is in your STEAM folder... you open CSS, open console, type playdemo demoname

when in the demo, you open console and type demoui 2 open a user interface panel.

ok, I did download and view the demo, now what do I do next? I saw me at 14:15 of the video, is when I became teleported and stuck and than the rest just like I said, stabbed someone and he killed everyone and than I get banned.

upload the demo as an attachment and tell us the ticks it appears at...

Attach the demo to your original post, or to a new reply on this post. The demo can then be reviewed and appropriate action can be taken. If you were wrongully banned, the clan will determine if punishment is in order. I.E.( multiple offences, blatant disregard....) If you were banned legitimately then you lose credibility, serve your one hour and life goes on.

There was deffinately nothing done wrong on Troy's part. he stood in the cade til they shot it off him, tagged one person and got banned like 30 seconds later. Deffinate abuse.

Wot. Yeah well some idiot right next to me shot the vending machine that was trapping the zombies letting them tag all of us and immediately the name I saw when I turned was yours. Apparently I was wrong since according to the demos, you were already zombie at the time and I sincerely apologize for my mistake D: I'm really not that big of a douche as to purposely ban zombies for human mistakes and I'll take any punishment coming to me.

From what I see, Troy didn't do anything wrong and got banned wrongfully by the admin. Hence a Call for Abuse on the admin part.

ryu says that this was a mistake in banning the wrong guy.
Ryu, shit happens, sometimes an admin can accidentally ban someone instead of someone else by mistake, typo, or in the hurry rush without paying attention to all the details, and it was a 1 hour ban only so we can chalk this up to a "mistake".

HOWEVER, ryu, it is your responsability to get all the facts straight before banning someone. We had this in many discussions prior to this:
1- check of your facts and make sure you have the right guy for the right crime.
2- WARN the person, in voice AND in chat about the action and ask for their immediate feedback as to what happened and tell them to "watch out" and be careful.
3- THEN if the person keeps repeating the offence, THEN you take action (doesnt even have to be a ban ... u could freeze, slay, etc... have fun -.-). even if it's for just an hour, you need to follow procedure. By skipping all these steps directly to a ban, it means that you have not properly understood the TOS, which is part of your responsability as an admin.

So troy, thanks for the feedback, we will take care of this from this point onwards, your ban was 1 hour, it was probably lifted by now. All i can say is that sometimes shit happens, and thats when a gd admin differs from the others.

Ryu, this DOES fall under abuse for not properly following procedure with the above steps.
However, since it is a very small offence, and im assuming you're relatively a new guy, i suggest reading up on the TOS, maynard can either decide to cut u some slack this time and keep an eye out for "repeated offences" since you claim it was an accident (which should never happen again), or he could call it abuse and see proper assessment. (it really just boils down to how far off he is in his christmas drinking :D).

my 2 cents? no INTENDED abuse, however the admin was at fault accidentally and should consider to check all facts from now on before committing to a ban.
