yeah I'd like to report admin abuse and harassment/game disruption

The last few days there has been a lot of abuse from slaying, blinding, drugging, kicking etc from this guy. He will single people out and use all his power on them for no reason, over the course of several rounds, even cross maps. I have seen him do this to about 7 people over the few hours I was on server

he threatens people with homophobic and racial slurs, religious insults and ranting, slaying people for being gay, black, jewish, etc. He goes on hate speech about nonsense and kicks people if they complain about it

Example: On bumfights Kamikazii started ranting that a spray was extreme gay porn, when it was just a picture of a guy frm jersey shore, and then about gays are a disgusting abomination of god, and that all faggots should die, and a bunch of other hate after slaying players several times, he goes on and on

He sets everyone on fire randomly, freezes them, does pretty much whatever he wants, even randomly changing the map to what he wants even after a mapvote, even if it kills the server, it is ridiculous

so ridiculous I came on these forums to complain about it. if it was a couple abuse for fun a couple times, then nobody would care, but he does it constantly, every second of every game, he is abusing. I think he is on some kind of power trip?

it's to the point that people don't even really want to play on the server anymore

ps. I did not screenshot everything he's done over several hours, just a couple screenshots at random times, and I blacked out some names so I don't offend those people, but if you want to see more check the logs

As you may or may not be aware, Kamikazii is on probation for abusing admin (this isn't a new thing), so I'm sure this will be getting a lot of attention.

On a separate note, when online last night I played with Kamikazii for three maps from Natalys_ship --> highschoolbeta --> winterfun. Although commands were not abused much (couple beacons) on the first, Kamikazii proceeded to slay humans under the stage area when they met a capacity of 4. I tried to explain that although that is a crouch spot, it is not a vent, and thus we have never put a max on that spot (ex: during regular hours various admins online will allow upwards of 8-10 people). Despite giving him a copy of the rules saying "Two per Vent Opening", he still proceeded to slay humans for 2-3 rounds, insisting that it was in the rules (I know ManBearPig was one of those slayed if you need another account). The time for this was approximately 12:30am 02/20/2012 EST, and I will attempt to get the demo or logs for proof of course.

Firstly, what Ifo is posting as screenshots are out of context and there is a reason shadowman isn't posting an abuse thread over it, he knows full well he instigated the situation with slurs and then shooting my cade and finally tossing a nade into my cade as he ran past (after being gagged for several lines of insults after I said the spot I was in wasn't cheap, he just didn't know how to break it [the room with the button behind the door on desert fortress, everyone knows you just jam a chair in it to break the cade]).

Secondly, I've never used black as an insult in my life (or any related words), I only said god hates gays because some asshat was running around spraying a giant cock after being told to stop several times (and no, it wasn't a guy from the jersey shore as you state, it was a naked black guy with a cock blown up in a bubble-like effect to make his dick take up the bulk of the spray - and the comment about jewish women you edited down above is not only out of context, but is a factually correct description of a genetic disorder afflicting 1/8th of women in a particular Jewish sect responsible for intersexual characteristics (having both male and female genitals) - while not the nicest thing to insult someone with, it wasn't a knock at Jewish people, but at shadowmanexists - and what I believe is his lack of a penis while claiming the contrary.

Secondly he didn't post any proof (as the demos would vindicate the actions taken). Lastly, I've been told on several occasions that it is 2 per opening on a crouch spot that can fit a single person (extended to 4 for a 2-man wide opening), in the contexts of a couple specific maps:
fubar towers: admins will frequently evict groups larger than 4 from under the stairs
snoopie: more than 8 people in the long tunnel will typically be evicted because 2 will can sit side by side and it is a 2-opening tunnel

the rules exist to make the game fair - a dozen people sitting under the stage with a single 2-person crouch spot as an opening, the other entrance with an immovable box jammed in it, and plenty of room not to get tagged is not fair - its practically the same as someone cading a crouch spot and we had 3-4 rounds prior to me evicting people from under the stage where the timer just ran down with the zombies standing around not trying because they knew it was futile.

Who has been telling you its a 2 per couched opening? That person is wrong. It's two per vent opening specifically for the same reason why we have the two per tube. More than 2 and it usually always fails. It was to make it fair to humans not zombies. Hell you have someone who knows how to make a good cade and zombies just stand around because they know its futile. Is that fair? No, but are we going to start making good cades illegal? Nope.

If that's the case I don't want to call them out on it because they are some of the nicer admins and I've only ever seen it employed to make games fair that simply aren't otherwise. But in terms of who the rule is to be fair towards, here is a recent post from Zero on the topic:

I'm definitely not great at zmod - pretty sure my KDR is still under 1.00 - but I know even the really well-built cades can be broken so it's certainly not about fairness to incompetent zombies - but 12 people under the stage on tx_highschool is just absurd when there's not so much as a single newb poking their head out ready to be tagged - if the hole were open then sure, it would be fair because there would still be a chance for the zombies, but with a box lodged in the hole it is not coming out so the only opening is a crouch spot in the corner. If I'm wrong on this I certainly won't try to stop it if I see it again though.

In the attached demo, at Tick 70,000 Kamikazii <ibis.a> goes into spec. At 72,600 the first of 5 players is slayed (Hooligan) for over occupying the area under the stage on this map. Although the sourcetv demo does not show (ALL) chat, I don't remember there being a warning issued to the players before the slays were performed (nor was their evidence in the console of such a warning). Below is the direct wording from ZMOD Rules v2.3:

Two Per Vent Opening - Only two people allowed per opening. Two opening means Four people are allowed.

This rule was put into place to stop multiple players from getting in tubes and vents where more than 2 players with a penetration weapon (i.e. Para, P90, etc) could shoot through one another and hold back any zombie onslaught indefinitely. The area under the stage (similar to the monitor spot on zm_miniature_room and the boxes next to THAT spot on miniature room) are open areas that do not always allow for a direct line of sight (people shooting zombies straight back out of the entrance). Despite our efforts to put limits on these spots, no action has officially been made (and put in the rules section) that should inhibit multiple people from occupying that space.

This said, Kamikazii <ibis.a> proceeded in slaying the 5 occupants nearest the entrance. When I confronted him in admin chat (not visible in demo sadly) after the incident, he stood by his decision (though not implicating it before or after that incident when more than 4 players were in the spot) despite citing the same rules I have posted above on vent occupancy.

On a separate note: at tick 60,600 player "soda" was slain towards the end of the round for no reason by Kami. This could also be considered an abuse of admin powers, but not the main reason for this thread.

I warned them for a full round prior without punishing anyone for it.

I don't recall why this occurred, but I'm confident the reason is apparent when watching the demo.

Just for the record, with all these spots (highschool and miniature room as I mentioned), there are ways of getting in there OTHER than just crouching through the entrance. Example: Parachuting off of higher objects (shelves on miniature, boxes on highschool) to get a bit further in AND surprise players before they can shoot you out. Training zombies is also effective, though hard to get the team together I'll give you that. My point is, there are ways to defeat even a 12-person clusterfuck under there, which is probably why these spots have not ALREADY been limited and put on the rules updates.

The point I was trying to make was just because its hard doesn't mean it should be illegal. Try learning how to b-hop-crouch-jump into crouched areas. Develope that skill.

At the end of the day, don't make up rules and enforce them. I find it hard to believe that you are 100% innocent, not just in this specific matter but rather, in general in the whole scheme of things. To have built up so much hate and animosity for your self in such short time should not be somthing that goes unchecked. Remember, your behaviour reflects your self, this community, and our players and the player seems to be Fed up.

There was no reason soda should have been slayed at all. And if the old rule of 2 per opening per crouch was in effect it would be 2 not 4.

How the hell would you even know the first 4 in. Even with the old case in rules, if you didn't see the first people in you couldn't slay. There is a reason that was removed. It caused more problems than necessary. As an admin you are suppose to know and read the rules as part of the TOS. This is clearly abuse or a very bad misunderstanding of rules in Chefs demo, yet you play enough to were you should know.... I think someone got asshurt. As for the OP, can't make a call on that.

I don't believe for even a second that you honestly thought more than 4 people couldn't be under the stage on highschool... I think you're just getting mad at certain cades/hiding spots and use admin 2 break them up when they piss you off and play dumb.

After reviewing the cases this admin has been removed. I have unbanned the player so they can join the servers again. As long as their admin subscription is active they will get a reserved slot.

The admin was already on probation and showed no signs of improvement in behavior. These blatant and repeated abuses deem it necessary to remove admin. It is possible that you may regain the ability to use admin at a later date if you demonstrate that you have better learned the server rules and improve your behavior.

It is unfortunate that this admin did not get the idea when they were placed on probation and it had to come to this. Hopefully in time this player can demonstrate that they deserve another chance and will prove that they can be a good admin.

Thank you to all the admins and players who have worked hard in reporting abuse. I know these things can be very frustrating but it is important that we are able to separate real and repeated abuse from people crying about getting banned.
