Hahaha, so...cool story brah moment...

I'm @ work and I'm russling through my purse for stuff...so, I set my gatorade bottle down on the recoptionist's desk. She looks at it and says "oh my god, your gatorade is red...but it says cool blue on it" I look at her funny..she then says "you could sell that for a lot of money. People fawn over mistakes made by big distributors"....

I didn't have the heart to tell her that I refilled the bottle with fruit punch crystal light. I just said "oh, something to think about...but I'm thirsty"...and walked away...rofl.

the next step is obvious...

given she's apparently knowledgeable on the topic of things that are worth a lot of money when it comes 2 distributor mistakes... it would be in your best interest 2 sell her the bottle for the low low price of 500 dollars.

When maynards plan works, I step in with mass product manipulation.... The ol Pepsi in a coke bottle trick.

Did you get your money back? Or did they accuse you of poking a pinhole somewhere? Lll

Personally I vote you forget the $500 and go for the big monies... Why not sell an idea of switching up the flavors and bottles.
Tons of people think they will be collectors items. You can probably make more money just selling the "flavor label swap" idea to gatorade.

this.

skittles has 2 different 'blends' if you will where the candy coating does not match the flavor of the inside.

$500 is nothing, some bitch just sold a chicken nugget for $8100 because it's suppose to look like George Washington.

More to the point I'm old enough to remember clear pepsi.... of course Pepsi announced they were introducing Pepsi with out the dye and the idea bombed...
(most people said it sucked before even trying it because it was different in color. I tried it... it tasted exactly the same.)
If they had just said holy shit a batch went out that's crazy and different... it would have sold tons of cases.

Rofl. These ideas are good. Every major business proposition starts somewhere. ..I just wanted to tell a story! Lol.

if any of you bitches get rich off of my story..I want money! At least a discount on Gatorade products..haha

People will buy/sell anything, man.

Let's take these ideas to the shark tank. Mikey can be the speaker.

They could have at least introduced it as an accident. People would try it and like it, then they could state they reproduced the error.

People eat and drink with their eyes first. Drinking clear Pepsi to some is like eating green eggs...just not cool man.

That makes me think about molecular gastronomy. So cool that you can turn food into different textures but keep the taste...a good example being dipping dots. Off topic, but cool, nonetheless.
