Reason for perma ban: Recruiting,trash talk towards ibis Gaming. He posted the Ip for theyr server and left.( Thats pretty far out in the demo )
Was told that this should be a permaban, so I went ahead made the ban longer, and naturally made this thread.

3 things:

1- dont link to the ftp demo unless it's a duplicate demo.

2- use the demo uploading system , dnt use 2shared or other third party lockers.
For example: our older bans are currently with no demo because megauploads got shut down and we lost our files there, the same shit could happen to all other upload sites.
When u make a post, at the bottom of ur post, before u save it, there's a 'manage attachement' button. Click on i and upload files from there after u downloaded them on ur pc.
Much cleaner and faster to upload, download and manage

.3- u cant perma ban for disrespect, but i see you also added that he was posting a link to another community? I could understand why u'd be told to post a perma .

Maynard? Whats the rule of thumb regarding banning for advertising other clans or hacks sites? Is it a perma or extended ban or short ban/warning?
I cant remember for the life of me what we ended up doing for those sec9 clanners that came advertising with their clan website the lther day and linked to their whoring cam-site via chat, voice and nude sprays.

He posted the ip for theyr clan wcs server, cause he wanted people to join that, kept going how it was better than ibis and what not.

Then again i guess thats another way to block hacking clans like mygoat and myboat... But i would strongly recommend never using that ban feature, it can be horribly abused and lead to anning innocent people instead of corrupted ones.

Awesome. Im getting on all my accounts, along with a few other friends and going to his server when he is IN GAME and return the favor. I'll get perma'd sure, but ibis triumphs any wcs server ive seen:). Worth it. (jk about the trollin)

Lol i didnt know about the steam group ban. Then again i guess thats another way to block hacking clans like mygoat and myboat... But i would strongly recommend never using that ban feature, it can be horribly abused and lead to anning innocent people instead of corrupted ones.

Oh It is not added in the ibis site, or not given to us regular admins. And if it was Id think about a 100 times before I did.
There is also a feature to ban all friends.
The feature is kick ass, tho if the person you ban has his profile on limited you can use it, cause sb cant read the profile.

warning at first, if the person doesn't stop temp ban... length depending on how much they were spamming us with ads. short ban if they were just posting a link every bit 2 something, longer ban if they were aggressively spamming it.

if the person continues 2 do that and we notice a track record of them doing it, we could look into perma ban. in this case, I would have no issue with him being perma banned though as he's from a rival gaming community, and was actively shit talking our community and trying 2 promote his own.. people like that we don't need in our servers.

if it's someone just advertising a game, or youtube link or something refer 2 what I said at the top of the post.... as for people from rival gaming community's who wana just shit talk our community and recruit in it.... fuck em'
