How did he/she abuse (See TOS): While playing the admin had stated that "they were there to remove scum and make the server a better place" (tick 17k) Some of the regulars on the server and I were commenting and making a jest of the "scum"comment. At approx 46.5k tick mark the admin had verbally warned the server that the comments were "trolling an admin". Another player had stated that the comments were no longer in regards to the admin, and that what was being said was for comedic effect. Shortly after I had made a comment and was kicked by said admin. After re-entering the server fellow players had also made several comments and one was banned for approx 10 mins.(tick 50.5k) Whilst making comments another regular had joined and I was in the process of informing this player as to the status of the server when I was banned by said admin. (tick 55314)

I do understand that the TOS strictly prohibits harassment of admins. I also understand that there is a process to be followed when enforcing the TOS. I have been playing on this server for a few months now and am well known in the small community. I would hate to see people that regularly play within the IBIS community being shown such a poor example of what an admin should be. It may be the time of year when kids are getting out and being crazy, but that is not an excuse to "power trip" on a server solely because you can. I said nothing of the IBIS gaming community in general, nor did I specify that a few months was TWO months. Regardless of the length of time or the size of the community I have been playing in, the actions of the admin is what is under review, not my reputation or gaming habits.

As in most cases, it all comes down to perspective. In which seeing as I have been avoiding the forums and other parts of the IBIS community, in some ways you are correct. Alas, this is a futile effort with no true ends to the ridiculousness. I am not looking for repercussion. Honestly it's not worth investing any more of my time in trying to beat a dead horse. Thank you for taking the time to listen to the cries of "just a regular"

I don't believe the ban was really needed as you guys weren't from what I can tell trying 2 troll him, but if he felt you guys were simply still saying scum non stop 2 make fun of him and troll him... stopping when he asked you 2 would have been the best bet.

granted you guys did nothing but belittled him and his position, I can see why he approached the situation the way he did, and why he felt you guys were simply just trolling him.

once again, he also did ask you guys 2 stop... you ignored his warning and continued doing it.
