Not bad,

Though I'd personally recommend cutting down the different fonts to keep the website organized. As for a better idea on what the text may look like, try pasting in a Lorem Ipsum filler text. I feel the buttons can be better if you don't use the flash navigation ones? Maybe make a rollover type graphics, clean yet minimal.

That is what I wanted but I can not figure out any ideas for what the dam things should look like... I could make ones that are like this from scratch. But I also have no idea how to make animated gif in gimp.

Or is there like a gif maker that I can DL that just lets me set the images frame by frame or lets me have a before and after image and it makes the animation like flash does...

I like the colors on the banner. Its the topics that need to be worked on. I would put some input but I'm not an artistic person. Hey Demonic put some input into this thread !

I think its good except it shows too much white in the background. Thats just my opinion though.

The actual background for the text will be an off white. The edges/page background will be the color that it is, unless you guys have a better idea.

yea, it only costs more than the XV8600 but with 1/2 the options and 3/4 the coverage area!

As an added bonus NVIDIA is shipping there new phone mid 09 and Verizon will roll out 4G by the end of next year in places like NYC. It is currently the worst time to buy a new phone... Also USB 3.0 hits end of 09

well I washed my other phone I had and although I thought I had insurance so wasnt worried about it then, i didnt because the idiot in the at&t office mistakenly put me down for roadside assistance instead of insurance. Anyway since I needed a phone asap I bought some cheap as GoPhone to make do. Now that phone was the biggest POS I have ever put my hands on, so i was like wtf can I upgrade to for cheap and they had a deal on the Blackjack2 so that's how I ended up with tha.t

In NYC at&t coverage is excellent. I've been an at&t customer since 2006 and experienced maybe 2 or 3 dropped calls. Beforehand I had sprint and was experiencing 6 percent of dropped calls per month.

Regardless I think the point here is that there will be a mobile version of the website in the summer. (It will be optimized for speed as well as navigation) I may even buy a .mobi address for it!

Just to mention that anyone who lives in NYc and drives on the Long Island Expressway by the Queens Center mall, you actually hit a dead zone for about 20 feet. Cell phones, satelitte radios among GPS all go dead for that time in the dead zone. Ive been noticing this evry time I drive through that area.


And no im not a cheap bastard either, I have nothing wrong with my phone, GPS and radio and it happens to all my friends.

Good because if you are saying that now then the actual version should be just right. One of the things I want to do is use color to focus the user toward the more important items of the content. The red vent label for example will cause some users to scroll down more as it brings there attention to the lower part of the initial screen thus allowing to see other content that may be below. (Not necessarily the actual vent info)

Latest version, I decided that it would be a good idea to offer in-site searching. This will make it easy for new users to quickly find what they are looking for.

As of now the beta is fully W3C compliment! This means that all of the coding for the html and css are exactly to the standards as defined by W3C. To you this means that the website will not contain errors resulting in increased load times, problems with some browsers (including the next version of IE) and lets you know that IBIS holds even it's html code to the highest standereds!

I have now started to recode the page for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) this is forcing me to take some serious time and reexamine how the code is structured so that it is able to achieve the highest page rank possible but also be easy to program changes to. I am also having to study up on a lot of SEO stuff to ensure that I am taking advantage of all possible code configurations.

I have been doing some more work. Although it looks very much the same as some of the last pics hundreds of lines of code have been rewritten to get search engine optimization. Other changes that I did will make it easier to edit in the future. Right now I think the base code for the home page is 90% complete. I hope to be able to start working on all the other pages by next week. On that note I am hoping to be finished some time next month. :smirk:
