I have no idea who banned me
At 12 a.m. on Thursday 3/29/12
On the IBIS gungame server
I have no idea why I was banned and am unable to find myself on the ban list.


Other/Reason to unban:
Hey guys, I don't really know why I was banned. The only ban that was at a time that I think could have been me, has no nickname and Shady banned him for tking. Shady was in that game with me, but I never team killed anyone so I don't think see why that would be me. I was in the game on knife level, then the server kicked me due to a slot reservation. so I tried coming back in the game a few times, after about the 3rd or 4th time retrying to connect, I received the message "You have been banned from this server".

If I did anything to piss anyone off unknowingly then let me know. I like everyone having a good experience. I've played on your GG server for about the last month and a lot about a year ago. If this was some kind of mistake, I would also like to know that for peace of mind. I appreciate the help.

The 4 hour ban was by Shady for TK'ing. I'll see what I can do.

It's all good at this point, because it's been well over 4 hours. I would appreciate it though if I was told why Shady banned me since I never killed any of my teammates and I was on knife level at the time I was banned. The only thing I can think of is that I rejoined the server displacing one of the numbers in mani admin while Shady was trying to ban someone else. Let me know if it was an honest mistake. Thanks

well on the ban list your name doesn't show up most likely because you were banned via the "ban disconnected player" command. though shady himself would have to explain the reason, given the ban reason it seems as though you tk'd someone, disconnected to avoid punishment, and were banned because of that. i understand that you say you didn't tk anyone but in light of what little evidence is present that's what it seems like. could you tell us what map it happened on we could look into it. was it on complex?

Yes, it was complex. I was on knife level so I don't know how the hell I could've tk'ed anyone, and I was d/c'ed because of a reserved player slot. Let me know though.

this is really strange. i see you didn't tk anyone, were dropped due to slot reservation just like you said, but you are able to rejoin just before the map changes so you weren't banned on complex. but when the next map loads, you're no longer on the server and i can't see where shady bans you as such admin commands wouldn't come up assuming he banned you as disconnected. so it's almost like you were banned between maps somehow...i don't understand what's going on. i'd like to know what if anything shady did. i'll try to get in touch with him.

could be that shady didnt want him to win and banned him for Tking as no one ever really gives a shit unless it is an obnoxious amount of time.

he probably tried to ban someone else that disconnected, and accidentally hit your name and never realized his mistake. just wait for him to post

umm if it was done from the disconected menu it was probably the wrong person? the list might have updated right when i hit the number.... i dont recall banning ur name my mistake i believe im pretty sure it was someone with similar name maybe i cant recall :/ sorry bud.
