In demo "knob2", the first headshot could be taken as lucky, but the second you can slow it down to see the cursor keeps moving back towards the opponent's head. I will attach the SourceTV demo as well for both the map banned on, and the map prior (both of which he was using the same hack).

chef, when i look at your demo, there is a definite shake. i'd like to invite kn0b to view that demo (the knob2 one) and see why you were banned. however, when i look at the sourcetv demo, it's wholly absent (your demo starts around tick 12000 in that one). not sure what to make of this. either sourcetv is shit and can't detect the hacks we see in your demo, or your demo is some weird glitch or lag or something.

knob, if you're innocent then you'll be unbanned but just bear with us for a while, we have a process and all evidence will be taken into account. the evidence is a bit confusing for this one though.

Yeah I don't know bout the difference, but what's more, I go to tick 12000 (or 13200), and when I find Kn0b on FP It comes up with Mythik's name (this is sourceTV demo)? Once I resume/pause it switches over to kn0b again even though it's his POV the whole time...

yeah... this sourceTV vs regular demos shit is getting annoying.
yesterday i was watching a guy in game with a circular-moving crosshair at some point, and when i went to record it, he stopped doing it... figured id go to sourceTV demo and check it out.. saw NTHN// i thought it was my fps going up and down... but i asked others on server, they all saw that "his sensitivity was too high"... (bs, my fucking mouse is 5700 sensitivity IN GAME and its more stable than that..)

haha its fine and don't apologize for what you see, i'm just wondering what you make of the shake in chef's demo. i'm guessing you take it as a glitch on chef's end as you didn't see it speccing him in-game? i think it's a pretty clear difference between his and sourcetv's, and i'm trying to figure out which we should go by.

I did not see this shake while speccing and i would always trust sourceTV over console demos. They arent 100% but they are more accurate then spec..for sure.

im not entirely sure about that owns. always heard around the block that the personal in game demos provide the exact view from first person, but the sourceTV demos are better at obvserving the whole game in general, not to mention the fact that sourceTV has been fucking up BIG TIME recently...

Well im speaking from my experience. I have never seen SourceTV fuck up..I have, however, seen personal demos record the spec glitch. Either way..take it as you want.

50800: In air hs + Deagle hs The dude was hovering in the air, and as everyone knows the hitboxes in source lag behind a little still even after the OB update
68300: Quick Turn Scout hs It's a flick shot, he heard the dude running behind him.

Bottom line here, the CS:S is broken as fuck still, add to that a mod that destroys the engine even further, you're going to have ridiculous interpolation even more so than normal.

This dude is legit, and it shouldn't even be considered luck if you know the game well enough. Brett, seriously dude, you're a good ass player, and you've played this game for eons.

Also, there was nothing at all in that italy demo that showed signs of any kind of cheat.



EDIT: Viewed the personal knob2.dem - Whoever recorded this has some serious choke/rate issues going on. That being said, since when is recoil control any type of aimbot/assist? He was clearly crouched, spraying, and controlling his recoil on the mp5.

It's really starting to seem like we have a witch hunt going on here at IBIS.

Always trust source TV over personal demos. Cyber, with all do respect, it honestly seems like you favor the personal demos because it could be concluded there that he is hacking. It makes it seem like you WANT this guy to be found guilty, this is not an appropriate way to go at reviewing a persons in game integrity.

to be honest i havent even watched the demos, i was simply mentioning something i read in old admin threads that it was better to get a personal demo because it records exactly what u see...
