Time for some map cleaning?

I think that the map rating system has collected enough data buy now so that I can remove the crap maps for good. You should all take a look at the ratings, as I am going to come up with a minimum standered and remove everything under that. Logically the amount will be different for each server. :wtg:

zero, be aware that averages for map ratings are likely to be skewed. I usually hit 1 for each rating as the vote comes up when im usually in the middle of a gun fight.

There are other reasons for being skewed too.

just a question, how come there never seems to be css militia on the server? its a pretty good map IMO, you can rescue through sewers and it has a nice environment

Looks pretty similar. We should try it out though. I havnt seen many servers with 3rd street, so we should consider adding this one just to hold down the map sequence.

Well, I always thought that the intelligence and understanding of the game of the person in charge should direct what maps are played -- not some vote that the consumers were presented with in the middle of action. Why don't you just ignore the stupid vote and take your own decisions, Zero? (to give you a little example... beachassault has one of the highest ratings! And it is one of the most offensive and humiliating maps on the server. Together with assault and militia_nolag, of course) Please take the matter in your own hands, Zero, and decide the maps for us. Thats how I like it, at least, because I find it honorable to be somebody else's bitch. :icon_mrgreen:

well you can do a forum poll.. that would be much more effective.. since lots of regs actually visit the forums now and then.. or mix both forum poll results along with gaming server results.. i believe that will benefit everybody
