ok, that looks epic. the setting seems like steampunk meets half-life 2, the game seems like a first-person assasins creed, mixed with bioshock.

this i am happy for

Legit, EXACTLY what I wast thinking (but you posted it first -,-, damn you lol).

Dig the graphics above all though. Since CSS is one of the few games I have time for during co-op (and I don't have any consoles living alone ), something this nice is like beautiful...

That's not a gameplay trailer. Seeing as it's made by Bethesda, not going to get too excited for this one.

Well that IS a new concept. And so are the telekinetic powers. Never seen those in a game.

so a lot of people are comparing the gameplay feel to a "skyrim in the future" gendre?
are they anywhere close?

So glad to hear its a great game, I was looking forward to it for awhile but haven't picked it up yet. Any idea if it is better on console or pc?

unless you plan on modding it, it doesn't matter which one you pick.

One honestly isn't preferable over the other. They are the exact same game.

Just finished it the 1st time. The ending was fairly predictable and just slightly disappointing while the plot was almost a given. However, having said that - I will still say it's one of the best recent games that I've played, if not the best in the last few years (I've been disliking pretty much all of the new games for the last few years). I absolutely loved the gameplay and the huge amount of avenues you get to choose to do your objective. I've enjoyed being stealthy and not killing pretty much anyone quite a bit, but I've got a feeling that murdering everyone who gets in my way and just causing chaos is going to be just as fun.

I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys playing for playing sake - the story is not really good and you won't find something completely new and unexpected here, but the sandbox type of gameplay along with a bunch of really interesting and fun abilities made this a very satisfying game with a fair amount of replay value. I'd say 8.5/10 for Dishonored.

4 days where I'd spend around 5-8 hours each day (pretty much my all free time), so I'd say a bit over 25 hours.

not 2 shabby

That's the thing that I've noticed about the game - if you go right off the bad for the objectives (I've done that on Mission 1, before deciding to replay it), it goes on really fast and it wasn't really enjoyable. However, when you immerse yourself into the game and start testing out boundaries and limits of the game, when you experiment with different abilities and tactics, that's where the most fun lies... Thus me spending so much on a "short" game. This game has a lot of "secrets." Okay, not exactly secrets, but a lot of hidden really cool stuff (and insights) which make it much more enjoyable as if you'd just blast through the game with doing most of the objectives, the game would seem average at best as storyline, while definitely makes sense and seems like it's not forced, is very predictable.

I'm actually surprised I enjoyed it so much as I generally play games where game's plot is the main focus (Because if game has a shit plot, I normally discard it really fast), but Dishonored managed add a lot of interesting additions to the sideplots and made the gameplay really, really enjoyable, which kind of offset the bigger negatives.
