Omega - Too stupid to know the rules

How did he/she abuse (See TOS): Ignorant of the rules. When we tried to enlighten Omega, who is possibly too stupid to breathe, it muted us. even another admin (checkster) told it that we were right, however asshat still did his own thing. Please have him shot.

Proof (Proof is NEEDED in order to report abuse, if the abuse contains admin commands and chat only a date and time is needed; however, a screen shot or console copy is helpful): Someone show me where i can get a link to the demos? can't find shit.

You see as I was on and playing Admin Checkster was telling some racists jokes about "Niggers stealing TV's" And other crap involving stupid racism.
All I did was in chat firstly, tell him to relax on it since another player said how he was black.
You NOR him even realized this. So as soon as I opened my mouth you wouldn't stop blowing up the channel while I tried to speak with Admin Checkster.
Now why was I trying to speak with him, only so I could tell him to lay low on it until a upper admin could settle the dispute between us two. Now as soon as I temp muted you and told Admin Checkster this you left the game( you are already unmuted buddy!!)
Did I jump to hasty into TEMP muting you?

I didn't have time to think with all the 12 year old crap you were spewing into the mic channel so I just muted you while I spoke to checkster.
Do I have ANY problem with rascism. No, personally I do not.
But when a player on the server has to ask the admin to relax on it that's kinda pathetic.
So If i lose my admin powers or be banned for this, I can understand that.
Am I sorry for temporary muting you to speak with a new admin who wouldn't add me to steam to speak with me about the issue?

Learn admin rules, when two same level admins do not see eye to eye on something you let that thing lie until you can get in contact with a higher admin and figure out who is right.
And I just posted the server rules for the racism.

I tried to speak with you about this as admin to admin, you were the one who wanted to escalate it telling Nemesis to report that its definitely admin abuse etc etc.
Now that it has been reported(not even properly according to the forum rules)
Lets just let the upper level admins decide and let it be.

Hmm, no where do I see THAT in the TOS for normal admins :huh:. Doesn't matter who you are, a little less ranting and more proof helps move things faster (you were there, ergo you would know approximately where it was (1st 1/4 of game.... 3rd round... etc). If you don't mind waiting then by all means don't :icon_mrgreen:.

IMO, Yes there is nothing in the rules that says you cannot use racist language so long as it does not pertain directly to a player in the server. This is supported through: Admin TOS > "5) Be respectful and non offensive of our community and its members regardless of race sex, or religious beliefs." HOWEVER, if someone in the server (thus being a community member) says to stop because he is of the race being offended, and you do in fact profile the race, you are in fact breaking that rule. What it boils down to is this, racism is permitted so long as it does not offend a community member (through direct connection or if you're stereotyping about the whole race...).

Is this admin abuse? No, I personally do not think so. Omega was sparing in his use of admin commands (a mute for 5 minutes is hardly something to whine about...) and you were not allowing the admins to converse over this dispute in rule interpretation (Server Rules > Respect > 3 > A) A player that nags an admin repeatedly despite being told to :chill: ).

Omega, in future you should be discussing matters pertaining to rule interpretation in ADMIN CHAT if you do not have their friend request (this is done by team chatting and using "@" before your message). Why all this should be going down in the server over voice chat and possibly offending other players is beyond me. If this option does not work, it should be brought to the Admin Forums.
