Help? SourceTV demo and Steam ID

I wanna throw up the question if it's possible to conceal your steam id from source tv and if there's any way to find this user's steam id despite whatever program he may be using.

The reason I'm asking is because the server and sourcetv never detected this user ever connecting to the server (after the round started), plus everyone screaming hacker made him leave before the first round ended. The fact that pyschostats never registered any of his aliases, profile, ID, etc, and that his entry into the server was never noted in the chat/console log puzzles me the most. Or at least, I can't find them :help:

This is what I'm talking about. Silently joins in spectator as "bgsports96" and joins after the zombies spawn. Then commences to switch to other player's names somewhat slowly all while speed hacking. Clearly a classic zombie should not outrun two fast zombies in two seconds. If anyone could go ahead complete a ban for this guy, your help is appreciated :p

In recent times there have been a sudden influx of LUA scripters that constantly change their name so it is difficult to get their STEAM ID. I have provided a full proof way of making sure you ban the right one.

1. Shift+Tab
2. View Players
3. Pick the correct profile pic
4. Get his steam community url
5. www.steamidfinder.com
6. Put the steam community url into the designated area
7. Hit the button
8. Go to the Source Bans page and input the proper information
9. Hit the Upload Ban Button
10. ????
11. PROFIT!!!

I was hesitant to call this one a LUA because I have only seen LUA scripters change names rapidly, to a point where they fill the chat log. This one does not change names so rapidly. Idk if you can adjust the rate at which name changes occur, being the amateur I am...

There is only one result for the steam community search of "bgsports96" but I'm hesitant to jump on that call because I can't be sure that this is the same guy. He left the server as "PhiL" but he's probably sure to return to his old name. This profile shows recent activity in CSS, but again, how can one be 100% sure that this is the very same?



Edit: Ok after using pl@y/blade's post to find the steam id, I find that the user has been convicted of hacking on at least 3 or 4 servers. But the problem remains that I cannot connect this user to the player that was in game except by user name. The steam id does not show up in psychostats, and the normal permaban procedure does not use other servers' bans to solely justify a perma on ibis servers. Any ideas?

The demo should have the sb_status output in it and that should tell you the players steam id.

It was right after a server restart (the server was restarted after a glitch allowing the humans to shoot each other "pub style" occurred). I didn't see him in server before the restart. I'm not very adept with console or demos, so I'm not sure how to manipulate sb_status; it would only display the players' steam IDs at the start or end of a round. Again, the player joined before the round started and left before it ended. This was yesterday, May 08, at 6:10ish to 6:15ish PM on the map ze_voodooislands_v7

Edit: was that steam id/IP info even available through sb_status? :headache:
