Other/Reason to unban:
I have a brother who has been hacking on the IBIS WCS server. I had given him my VERY good computer to play his game "Skyrim" that he had recently purchased, and he decided to create a new Steam account and hack on the IBIS servers I had told him so much about, insead of playing Skyrim. Since that computer replaced my old broken PC, all I had was an old laptop that couldn't play CSS (or any other game really) and go on the server. This basically gave him a "Free-for-all" hacking session. He decided to go to the WCS server that I had told him basically everything about when he watches me. He has had another account VAC banned previously when he hacked, back when we were using Comcast and at a different house and knows his way around hacks back from when he used them. Maynard discovered my brother was hacking, and decided to ban him (good job Maynard). However, he noticed my brother was using the same IP as myself, and decided to Perma-ban me as well because, we have the same IP, I was offline while he hacked. This gave Maynard the impression that I was my brother, "Soul Scythe", was me. I would like to be unbanned from your servers that I enjoy playing a lot, because I have spent a large amount of time on the servers (even back many months, even years on the Zombie server and the OLD WCS server), and enjoy playing with many of the people there as well as the great servers you offer (The main reasons I bought a reserved slot and admin). If you can look into my case and possibly unban me, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

1. as someone who plays skyrim, and knows how amazing it is... I can assure you, the day you start playing skyrim, you're not going 2 put it on hold 2 come hack a server you've never once played on before lol... not 2 mention, get a new steam account just for the occasion. skyrim is incredibly addicting the first while....

2. you said your "brother" has a registered copy of skyrim, his steam account does NOT have a registered copy.

3. the second you stopped coming on the server (and you play daily) your "brother" magically shows up on our servers and knows it in and out lol...

4. you can claim your "brother" watches you all the time but I don't buy that for a second. your "brother" was on a level 3 shadow hunter and had like 40-2... he was not new 2 the server, in any form, he was well aware of all the races, and their functions. WCS is something you have 2 play and practice at, sitting there watching you once in a while isn't going 2 make him be that good.

5 your "brother" claims he played on other pub servers and just decided 2 come and play our WCS... yet his account is brand new, nor does it show him playing anywhere else.

in closing, I don't believe for even a fucking second that you gave your "brother" whose in the same house as you, access 2 your PC, 2 play skyrim... then he magically decides at random... "hey, ill make an account and go hack on my brothers server that he plays all the time and loves!" not 2 mention that over those 2 days, while he was hacking in the server, you did not ONCE come on WCS. you didn't even log into your steam account. you claim it's cause he needs the PC for skyrim, yet he's not playing skyrim is he? he's hacking our servers lol. nothing in your story adds up. which is why you're banned. I Know I already explained all of this 2 you in steam chat, doing so again here so the public knows everything and we have all this documented.

Explain. As I don't see how it would possibly make a difference. The internal addresses themselves would still be routed to a single external be it 4 or 6. You would still have to request a single static IP for the other client from the ISP, which you can do on IPV4.

If it were me and I was in a situation like such, I would have directed the traffic from that internal client out to a temporary proxy / open VPN.

Blatently and openly lied to you to try and cover why he was so good, and I agree: it was impossible unless he was talking about playing on his account a few years ago. I will also add that this will never happen again because he is now banned from my Internet and once he leaves next week, he probably won't be coming back.

Fact of the matter is nicktendo made a new account to fucking try some hacks out. He didn't put on his thinking cap when he did it. He didn't realize that some of here at ibis were slick enough to catch on. A new player to wcs isn't going to be rocking an almost perfect score, especially with whats essentially a char without any levels. Yea, I know you remember playing with me on aztec nick, lol. exactly... told him that in steam chat lol. he then tried claiming his "brother" said he was aimbotting... but the demo clearly shows he wasn't. headshot ratio is higher than normal due 2 him knowing when people are going 2 pop up, not cause he had aimbot. so the fact his "brother" is lying about what hacks he used... well... that's just funny.

I never said I agree those are permanent-ban type points, only that they are good points if you didn't understand what happened. If you read carefully, everything is explained. I don't see how I dug myself a hole by addressing concerns that Maynard had. I still disagree with the decision of my permanent ban, which is why I am trying to make you all understand by addressing the problems and pointing to where I explained them before.

Someone uses an account to hack and cheat on your IP be it you or not, you and all accounts are banned. There is no circumstantial, that's how it works here. It is your responsibility to secure your connections, who you let use them, and how they do that. That is all.

Im sorry. but when I am in a dorm where 20 people hook up to the same router. You dont know who is who on that IP. IP is not a person. ipv6 will change to atleast IP is a certan machine, not a possble machine of 20, but its still not a person.

Let me rephrase what I ment: I agree with the basic points behind them, being skyrim is addicting, but my brother never even installed it which makes those points useless because he was playing CSS instead of skyrim which I allowed him to use my pc for only. I never logged in because I knew how addicting skyrim was/is and I figured my brother would really enjoy playing it for a while and I didn't really NEED the computer, so I let him have it for a few days.
