This was brought to my attention by (hef and soon after I banned him. Updated:

well its more likely to be aimbot/wallhacking since all esp does is make your name visible at all times where as aimbot lets you flick to the head and walling lets you view the player through the walls.

10000 - 10900: Walks up fucking around then switches to deagle and headshots player as he rounds the corner

11900 - 12213: walks out facing one way and flips around to head shot the flame pred

29800 - 30000: Alright yeah thats a popular place to find someone but really? Pre-firing and not to mention right where another player is crouched?

30000 - 30400: Walks up the ramp following bs pre-fire to rounding a corner and capping a camper who shouldn't have been on radar.

Upon further review of the STv Demo, I'd change the reason to ESP. (EDIT: Fair enough haha, I just see when something's awry >.>).

10700: ESP (traces player through wall, then sv_showimpacts 1) (deagle hs)

13000: More (deagle hs)
30000: More (deagle hs)

Note: Player is total lvl 14 (not that this makes him a haxor, but I think most players can agree the first 20-40 lvls are you getting aboosed :smirk:)

I just made an account to reply on this thread. This is ridiculous. Really, accusing me for aimbot is the stupidest thing I ever heard, you see I've been playing css since 2008 and I have been playing cs 1.6 for a few years now. Counter-Strike 1.6 is much harder to aim and requires more skills. I haven't been vac banned from css, and I've been playing it for four years. Well I started playing css again a few days ago because I played WoW.

And the wallhack, my friend who were dead told me where they were sometimes. Well im sorry if ghosting isn't allowed because I haven't checked the rules yet.

I watched the demo and I see no hard evidence of walls/aimbot. However, he did admit to ghosting. I say perma on that basis alone.

im just curious, and spare me the "i wont tell on my friend" bullshit, i can go watch the demo and compare every kill u had with who is alive and filter them by ip address, steam groups, common friends and play time, and i will find who he/she is. but to save time, just blurt it out already.

im just curious to see who ur friend is, it might be the one thing that MIGHT save you from the perma i was about to slam on you for ghosting.

Ghosting is a temp ban offense actually, and after clear warning. I was surprised by that too but check the rules

Of course, why wouldn't I tell who my friend is? That is just stupid, his name is Telex. He has many accounts though and I think I have 2 of his accounts on my friend list. I haven't watched the demo yet, so I am not sure when he ghosted and when he did not.

He's not involved in this, it's my fault for asking where they were. He loves the wcs server so please do not involve him in this. Ask him if he knows who Kexon is, and he'll tell you.

i honestly find it amusing that yesterday i was spec-ing telex for walls or smthn after he was jumping corners and shit blasting ppl's faces off, or conveniently always coming from BEHIND players instead of facing them... and suddenly today i hear this discussion about him ghosting with you...

if im being "nice" i would personally give u both at least a week ban EACH as WARNING for ghosting alone just for being idiots and claim that "didnt know ghosting wasnt allowed..."

(i have yet to watch if you actually do have walls or wtvr in the demo, but with you admitting of ghosting, it's most definitely gonna be inconclusive for walls and oriented more to ghosting)

i honestly dont buy it that u didnt know ghosting is not allowed... its just for the sake of argument that im not requesting a perma ban on the spot... now you KNOW how we deal with ghosters.


ghosting isnt allowed ANYWHERE, or at least 99% of every server ever... when the odds are that high, fucking ask, or dont be morons, bcos i dont buy it that "you didnt know"... any player with any sense of decency and ethics would know that its not allowed...

also, if you guys thought that it was PERFECTLY LEGAL TO GHOST, why not talk in the game??? hmmm??? why go behind steam , hiddenly, if you think its not illegal to ghost? bitches please... cut the crap. you know it was wrong, u did it anyway, im being lenient here, and i think you guys should get a severe and stern warning first though, the ibis way as brett gladly pointed out to me above

The part with talking in-game and not steam... You should know that yourself, we were talking in skype, if we talked in-game we would be forced to talk english, wouldn't we? Well, wow 1 week ban instead of just a simple warning? Im wasting my time here, i'll go find another server.

Actually, they're not, and it gives you an unfair advantage. Doesn't take a warning to know that...you're lucky or current policies don't have it as a perma offense

Yup, bret is right...its not a perma offense. In that case i vote for a month ban every month, with one randomized day during that month to be unbanned...but noone can know! Now he would have to try and reconnect every day until he finds the magical one.

if you agree to my motion, would you mind making both bans since u got 2 ULA votes so far? if you think that only this guy should get banned (unfair to this guy imo) then you still got my YES vote on both scenarios.

I agree on a ban for both for a month long is excessive. He did admit and he did not give us a bullshit story either. I say (and god forgive me) be lenient and give them both a week for their actions. I give him respect for admitting to it.

this thread is basically turning to a temp ban thread on ghosting, as it is very difficult to see wallhacks when the players have admitted of ghosting. as for the aimbot, i will take a look at that side of it later bcos im at work (although ULA votes so far are against those hacks), and if i find anything , i will submit a new clean thread myself.

for now, this thread is these 2 players' LAST warning about ghosting, any other attempt to ghost will warrant a more severe punishment that ranges between a month or perma, depending on the case itself.
