Other/Reason to unban: This is absolute horseshit, the guy I teamkilled started to team-kill me in the game before once I hit grenade level, every round he either shot me down to low health or killed me. The admin who was ON did NOTHING about it. So the next map he kept doing it, so I did it back to him and so it went until the server banned me itself for five minutes.

The person who kept doing it was ]CI[ Zev Love X (STEAM_0:1:18622995). I don't know what the fuck his problem is, or why the admin in the map before did absolutely nothing to penalize or prevent him from continuing. I have a partial recording if need be.

**EDIT: also (forgot to leave out) I noticed there's no demo attached to my ban, why am I being banned for a WEEK with no demo? I think the fuckhead who was teamkilling me is bret's buddy or something.

Just because someone else murdered someone, does it make it right for you to do the same? No. You admitted to why you were banned, for TK, i dont know about the other guys since u didnt put the demo but if your telling the truth, than he will be banned also, but you have to provide your own proof if you want something done. You will still be banned so wait it out, but you can get the other guy banned.

The first (between 74,000 ticks and 80,000 ticks) is when he starts to teamkill me at the very end of the map. The admin Meltdown.ibis did nothing to stop what was going on.

i cant click the files o.o fix it :o Also I dont think brett banned you based of your statement, he banned you because you were banned by the Anti TK System we have in place on the server. We admins go through source bans often to check for that so we can ban for longer. You Shouldnt have done that and you know it, you should have reported the guy that was tking properly instead of taking it into your own hands.

a week seems excessive for team killing, even if someone had been doing it to you prior, two wrongs dont make a right. You should be punished for teamkilling regardless but a week seems like to much.

I make no secret of that I've been banned before (once by an admin for teamkilling, once for admin disrespect [the thread of which I can happily link if you'd like]), in my original post I have the list of my bans there.

I cant review the demos right now, but i will say this. You admit that you retaliated against the TKer. That is not an excuse, ever. If everyone was offline, you dont have the right people on your list. Maynard is always on, along with a lot of other admins and clan. At the very least you could have come here and PMed someone..not an immediate solution, but given your ban history..id say you should think twice before breaking server rules.

Like i said...im posting mobile right now, so if someone wants to take action..go for it.

While it is my personal belief that if someone hits you then you have every right to hit back (eye for an eye and all), but obviously this belief is not shared by the admins and in the future I will conduct myself within the lines of the server and its rules. I appreciate your involvement in this and hope we can come to a speedy resolution. I do admit that sometimes I lose my temper (see the previous bans for teamkilling, though honestly the memories are quite fuzzy), I just want to stress how utterly infuriating it is to sit on my hands while nothing happens (not now, but then).

Actually, I have the proof right here, these are the two maps where I'm saying what happened actually happened. I don't know how to upload the files directly onto here but if you go to ftp://208.43.70.233/ and CTRL+F (or whatever the Mac version is) for the file names, you'll find both maps in question. And as I stated above, it starts somewhere between 75,000 and 80,000 ticks. (I had trouble with the navigation thing in the recording playback.)

And I don't want to argue, but I'm not making up any fairy tales about lying about NOT team-killing him, because that totally happened, the issue that I'm stating is that I did it in self-defense (which as you guys have stated in this thread, was the wrong thing to do and I can certainly learn from my mistake here) from someone that was continuing to team-kill/lower my health significantly at spawn. And I was only musing that since the automatic one and the current one are for the same event, it seems more appropriate to combine them into one ban.

I made the ban from sb. I saw an auto ban for tking which takes quite a lot of tking. I didn't see any auto ban which tells me you did the majority of the killing. Due to your history I extended the ban. I'm at work nite but if the demos indicate the ban was undeserved, I do apologize and it will be fixed by owns or someone else. Next time, just call an admin in or ask someone else to. two wrongs don't make a right.

Edit: reduced the ban to 3 days as it was in retaliation. Add me, to steam friends as i'm usually on. Call me in next time.

u called me in to see people tking u a lot as well, and ive seen u myself tk in retaliation a lot...

im not sure WTF exactly happens when u play, but you made yourself "enemies" that TK you, i suggest you take a look at your gaming experiences, personality, expressions, words etc... anything that you do IN GAME, and try to see why the fuck u, of all people, is always subject to TKs... ive seen people play for years in gg and never even get SHOT by grieving teammate, but u always find urself in that shit hole..what gives?

and because of your constant returns to this TKing issue, i agree with owns that u're not to be unbanned this time. ( no hard feelings , i like u , but u have to learn that retaliation isnt a solution).
good for u that brett reduced the ban to 3 days which is more than enough. i hate grievers that start first more, i understand retaliation when no admin is around SEEMS like an OK solution, but its NOT a proper solution.

go add every fucking admin you can find in ibis, they dont even have to be GG gamers, there are wayyyyyyyyyyy more admins in wcs that are willing to hop to gg and help u, just take 5 minutes out of ur day, go to wcs, and add admins there as friends and go back to gg...
there's always someone around to help.


next time, if u get into TKing shit again, im personally upgrading ur ban for a lonngggg time.
