Reason for perma ban: this guy continued to tk and rejoin for 3 maps even after being ban'd. I first ban'd for 10 min after the last tk on 1st map gg_007_abby, which was me, then next game then ban'd for a day, then for 1 month and he just kept rejoining the server so tech. i guess he is not ban'd.

I only did abby but it continued exactly like this on gg_cornered and gg_blue_arena and if need be i will upload and make tick marks for those maps too, i just figured abby would be enough.

yea i know thats the weird thing, in game i would ban him and in chat it would say that i ban'd him and all the other stuff it says when u ban someone, then 5-10 mins later he would join the server again.

did you use the chat commands or the admin menu?

alright send a pm to zero describing what happened, that you tried to ban via menu and it didn't stick, didn't show up in sb. and next time you want to ban someone try using the chat commands (ex. !ban username time_in_minutes "reason", like !ban biohazard 60 "team killing"). then check sb right after and see if it stuck. it may be something with the player himself though, but just try that and see if you have different results.

as for the current case, he has no history of tking here but he sure is in the demo provided. since we don't perma for first time offenders i'm issuing a 1 day ban, and it will increase if he comes back and does it again.

temp ban issued (and yes it stuck this time), no reason to assess for perma, closed.

may i ask how exactly you were doing your bans?
EXACT quotes if u used the console, or tell me if u used admin ban?

im asking because i had a similar problem with my admin maybe a year ago where my steam id was conflicting with another id in the databases causing my sb_bans NOT to register.

edit: crap , brett handled this while i went to get food...and closed while my browser was idle...
rellik talk to zero about this if u used admin menu, brett slapped a 1 day ban, i would have done to based on tk proof.
