the server is full almost 24/7 mate. you being gone for 5 minutes can seriously frak up your team's chances of winning. there are TONS of others who are willing to take your spot if you can't play. yeah, it can suck. but that's the thing about popular servers.

IN his case he has a reserved slot and getting kicked and then rejoining and then kicking another player to make room actually fucks up the game a lot more b/c of the way ns2 works.
