fun guy has nothing to do with being ULA. I agree though. what matters though, is panda has a keen eye for hackers and has been very good at catching them. I think he would make a pretty good ULA.

good eye for catching the hackers, but not too quick to pull the trigger on them. maturity was a question for me early on but his age shouldn't be held against him, he's done well and. also fairly active on all the servers that are actually populated

This can be either a good thing, or a bad thing Panda.
I know the feeling, I'm in the same boat. I get hours and hours of demos before making a call SOMETIMES just because I want an undeniable burial of a very good hacker, with no questions asked.

You have the skills, you're a strong applicant. What I want to know is : do you hesitate with pulling the trigger because you're not sure? or because you want the self satisfaction of getting more unquestionable proof?
I understand the ladder, I do it.

But keep in mind, as a ULA, there's no room for doubting yourself. Your vote can permanently affect someone's residency in IBIS.
Obviously our ULA opinions will be discussed privately, but I want to tell you personally that I need you to be more confident about your bans.

It's good not to be hot-headed (me and brett already got that covered), but if you get the spot, there's no room for mistakes or second-guessing when your vote is on the line.

So keep your hacker-catching-streak active, you definitely have the highest ban record. But like i said on penis's thread, easy hacks aren't the problem, my kid brother can spot them. I want confidence in making strong calls in though cases, so stay active on ban threads till then.

Another good practice when voting on ban threads:
- I'd tell you to find the hacker yourself, but his name is in the thread.
- Instead, make your OWN list of ticks about the hacker BEFORE you see the ticks posted by the admin.
- Formulate your OWN opinion without taking into account ULA votes currently active (if you get ULA, you can no longer look up to those, since yours is one of them...).
- Compare your ticks to the provided ticks.
- DISCUSS your ticks with fellow ULAs if you feel that something is overlooked. You can only become more confident by criticizing your own work.

Prove me you can be reliable and confident, and you'll definitely get it.

My Thoughts upon request :

He's very responsive in catching hackers, and spotting them quite efficiently. Does all the paperwork (posting on forums stuff) ASAP to keep the list up to date. Very knowledgeable with the rules, allowing him to give the proper advice/punishment to players and admins alike. I wish him the best of luck in this ULA app.

@cyber I do not doubt myself, i just want concrete hard evidence of the hack so i dont waste peoples time witha inconclusive demo. I remember getting minu after about a week of watching him, his kind take a little to get concrete evidence on because you gotta be 100% sure they are hacking. For the most part i watch the demos in the ban threads, to keep up with the current hackers, as ULA is not for Fun admins, its for the hacking catching ones.

And can i get some Fries with that Hacker Catching Steak Cyber?

This is the only app where I actually see a lot of potential. He does get on my nerves sometimes, but so do most people. I agree with owns that his age should not be held against him. +1 this shit.
