I dunno, I've seen Brett's graphics settings. He plays on a laptop from 1987 I think.

yeah well i kick your ass on that laptop from 1987 so suck on that.

Through the darkness of futures past,
    The magician longs to see
One chants out between two worlds:
    Fire, walk with me.

Actually, I believe that was my point, since Assassin boasted about their skills despite the older hardware, and since you're so good at hack... err uh aiming. It was a backhanded compliment for sure.

P.S. - Kicking my ass is like playing Little League. Sure, you may have gotten a trophy, but was it actually an accomplishment? :P

I dropped the CS habit and quit gaming in general after starting college several years ago, so until last year (when a series of unfortunate events conspired to get me readdicted to CS), a desktop from 2004 was more than enough for my home needs. Last year, I decided to keep up with the times and get a laptop for school and everyday use, and I deliberately picked one without a graphics card figuring I wouldn't get distracted by new games if I couldn't run them. Well, my presence on this forum says a lot about how that went...

    2004 Dell Dimension 8300 desktop (for music/movies/shows/incompatible 1990's games)
    - Intel 875P chipset
    - Intel Pentium 4 w/ Hyper Threading (Northwood), 2.8GHz (overclocked to 3.2GHz), 512KB cache, 400MHz FSB
    - 512MB DDR1 RAM, 333 MHz
    - Seagate 80GB 7200RPM SATA HDD
    - Nvidia FX5200, 128MB, AGP 8X, 64bit, 250MHz/400MHz core/mem with passive cooling. Overclocked to 320MHz/525MHz after bolting on a spare 80mm fan.
    - 250W PSU
    - Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 sound card
    - Dell 17" LCD, 1280x1024 native
    - Belkin 54g wireless card
    - WIndows XP 32bit
    - average 30-90 FPS on CSS with lowest video settings except medium shadows, 1024x786, dxlevel 8.1.

2012 ASUS U46E-BAL5 laptop (CSS and general use)
    - Intel Core i5-2410M (Sandy Bridge), 2.3GHz
    - 8GB GDDR3 RAM
    - 750GB 5200 RPM HDD
integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics (650Mhz base)
    - Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi 5.1 USB sound card
    - 14" display, native 1366X768 native
    - 802.11n
    - Windows 7 64 bit
    - average 20-60 FPS on CSS with lowest video settings except medium shadows 1280x800, dxlevel 9.5

    Peripherals:
    - 500W Klipsch Promedia Ultra 5.1 speakers (only 2 satellite speakers hooked up when using laptop, so 2.1 for CSS)
    - Razer Abyssus mouse
    - Steelseries mousepad
