All you Canadians have been halfway up Crosby's ass since he was drafted. The guy is an assist machine and is bound to be a short lived Joe Thortnon at best. For the first couple years, Evengi was better than him, and if he were on a different team I bet you he would do better than Crosby. Yall just want another Gretzky instead of all those Russians running around.

No one will ever be Gretzky, it's not possible. you can't deny Crosby's skill and accomplishments. Who else is currently on his level? He elevates everyone around him and makes the team better.

As the younger, extremely less skilled brother, it's the American's job to take cheap shots, which is what they're known for. Just as the Russians are known for diving and generally being massive pussies.

I'm not denying the Russians are usually emotional pre-madonnas but the Canadians are so desperate to bring the cup back, and seeing a team like LA win it just kills them. I understand its their national sport, besides possibly curling, but you know that they self aggrandize themselves and their players. They appointed Crosby the best player in the league, and ever year he fails to produce those results there is always and excuse, but when he does play well, only then are we seeing the "real" Crosby. I mean look at the team this year, Evgeni, morrow, and Iginla, not to mention players like Kunitz and others that they have, thats a great team without Crosby, and the reason they do well when he isn't there is because they finally let Evegeni have a shot at being the number 1 guy, and he produces, then when Crosby is back they are forced to work him.

You know as well as I do that doesn't cut it for Canada. Sure the cup will come up to waterloo and other places, but they want a Canadian team to win, so they can feel that national pride, hard to swallow a SoCal team bringing the cup home, even if it does stop over in your country.
