Yeah, you guys are right, it's obviously a success, and the media is responsible for its failure. Not a single one of you will probably click through or read any of those articles, but they all say the same thing - the Wii U is already on the road to failure and is going to be hard pressed to catch up once the competition actually enters the arena. Seriously, with ZERO competition in the next-gen race, this is how the Wii U is selling. It's being outsold by current generation hardware. How can you not see that as a failure?

As for the rest of the replies, I believe I agree with Chikun here. I have no idea how this thread went from an intended discussion to an all out flame war. Yes Penis, I'm quite fucking aware Sony released a spec sheet for the PS4. I said so in my second post, reading comprehension ftw. That doesn't alter the fact that beyond a spec sheet and a controller and a couple of tech demos (don't forget about the 'skin' tech demo everyone was jizzing in their pants over!) we haven't seen shit else about this system. We haven't even seen or heard of a single next-gen launch title (except Watchdogs, which is coming out on PS3, 360 and PC, so who gives a shit?)!

I'm talking in facts, not opinion here. And my only point has been that of the three systems upcoming in the next generation battle, the Xbox One has had the strongest showing as of yet. And you call me an ignorant elitist and a fanboy because of it? Get the fuck out of here. Im sorry if I dont find michal pachter the most reliable source of information. He is a smart guy but damn he puts his foot in his mouth more often then not.

First article, going off one month of sales (assumed, not true numbers)
second EA is running into a chicken and the egg situation, all consolers have that at the begining of their lifecycle.
third, there wasnt anything substantial there... I mean nothing. Those werent unfulfilled preorders. It was just people saying they are interested in buying one in the future (im interested, have yet to do so)
Fourth artical disputs the first. tells the actuall sales number of 55k, not the speculative <40k
5th article didnt say much of anything, just sales numbers, that are not terribly bad.

Your not talking facts, your looking at all the fluff around the numbers in these artcles and taking in their bias.
Nintendo has two main problems, Shit marketing for the wiiU, I dont see any commercials for the damn thing, and a lack of software to get more people interested. Watchdogs is also coming out on the WiiU just so ya know.

So a PC used for a media center? Is it possible to have my PC set up as a media center and also connected to my gaming PC to stream live games and recordings? OR even use the PC to record TV?
