I dont necessarily interpret this as mafia. could be that the cop got a successful investigation. Otherwise it could mean that the mafia has a power role that dost proc the night its used, for example poison.

well knowing wolf he may have just claimed a unique pokemon for lolz. Smeargle is a very odd one. also after night wolf possted what a diffrent pokemon would sound like. similar to how i have been saying "bulb bulba bulb"

Given he's gone into Corsala mode, I'm still going with Ditto, which IS gen 1... Or Mew. I don't recall him saying only Gen 1, but given it's Kanto adventures, it's possible. Anyone want to claim gen 2+? Or want to find the "gen 1 only" post?

Well, Squirtle was part of the fire squad. Hopefully he's not a firefighter, or if he is, Mafia doesn't have it's normal kill. Even if that's true, it would make the enemy NOT just team rocket, so I'm sticking with "not firefighter", just protector.

Also, if Blade is Jiggly, we also have our Karaoke master. However, remember Jiggly wasn't actually part of the crew, he might be a third party player. Wasn't a bad guy, but what Jiggly wanted wasn't the same as what anyone else wanted.

As an FYI, once I leave this morning, I'm going to be going silent till the evening.

if it is jigglypuff then i find it hard to believe the tailed poke managed to walk away to go to sleep instead of passing out to the singing. if the karaoke poke is jigglypuff, it has to be prior to jiggly getting its singing mojo back.

Determining what pokemon are involved with this game is all and good, but its still dosnt provide us with who is what. Maybe what abilities may be out there but thats it.

im almost certain the three starters are involved. Myself as bulbasaur, squirttle as doctor, and a charmander (perhaps an arsonist, but unlikely at this point)
