we cant be 100% positive that there isnt trainers in the game but i am almost positive there isnt.

Based off the opening scene text, we can come to the conclusion that we are all pokemon living at professor oaks. The main "trainers" in the real pokemon "dropped us off at oaks, to make naughty anime sex"
