Ok, well I have shit to do today so I can't keep playing babysitter to captain Downs over here. I thought Brett had some intelligence, but apparently as mafia its much easier to feign intelligence, ie Mikey in last game.

This just came a game of "Find the Doctor" for the mafia since now he has to fucking protect me at night.

Guess I won't use any subtlety at all since doing so apparently goes over the children's heads and instills anger and hate in their souls.



Also, Fucking vote for god damn Blackmage already. He voted Mass, why? Cause I already laid out that the two could be connected, so the only way out of that is voting for him himself and making a case that way. Then he changes his vote to me after I spent all night telling Brett to take 2 seconds and reread what I wrote. I'm betting he fucking picked up on what I was hinting at.
Also, Nemesis was damn good at me claiming doctor last game and not actually saying it, now this time he doesn't pick up on anything and builds the vote train on me?

after reading posts from people like taz, kenneth, etc...i don't look for capitalization. if you wanted me to do that, you could say "my death is something mafia could capitalize on." subtle, but a clear sign.

so you investigated yourself, to see if you had any hidden modifiers i'm assuming. well what we have now is this: we have a doc. he is squirtle. mass softclaims squirtle, you're currently pursuing mass. his claim is BLATANTLY obvious. now assuming you're telling the truth, and i think you are because no fakeclaiming cop would say he investigated himself (right?), that's one less possibility. this leaves it down to masskid (softclaiming squirtle), wolf (shitto?), nem (???), blade (jiggly?). if we have someone else claim squirtle, that would seem to indict masskid. if we then lynch masskid and he was squirtle, we'll know damn well who the other person who claimed squirtle is. blade was referred to as an "idiot" in the night post. let's not trust him...but he's likely not mafia. unless he's a mafia idiot...so for now, until someone else claims squirtle, that leaves us at nem and wolf, correct? don't like wolf's claim.

the squirtle scenario also applies for blade's less-than-convincing jiggly claim. jigglypuff was actually strong as hell if i recall...and he claimed to be weak and let us come to our own conclusions. if someone else claims j-puff, or has another idea for the karaoke poke, speak up.

Why would I lie about being Jigglypuff? It's just a Pokémon, not a roleclaim. Granted, Jigglypuff could only be but so many roles (Reporter, Roleblocker, VT, Survivor, Rolestopper, etc).

What, even if you WERE the cop, we can only take your investigative results at face value since you could still be Naïve, Sane, or Random.

I will stand by my option and not vote until I am sure of who is the most suspicious.

masons in place instead of cops...possibility for sure. What knowing this and therefore claiming the most obvious pokemon and a role which he "knows" won't be in the game...possibility. What actually being the cop, but being insane, naive etc. because of the presence of masons...possibility.

Masons aren't really a terribly uncommon role. They are basically the equivalent of an Encrypter for Mafia.

A cop investigating himself first is actually a valid move because if he shows up as guilty, then he is either Random, Insane, or Paranoid. 2 of those 3 are bad. (Insane isn't as bad once you know that's what you are since it just produces opposite results.)

I doubt he would be Random because then I could castrate Cyber.

For Mikey to be guilty, we need to assume two things. 1: there are some bastard roles in the game. Well, it's Cyber, and we've already seen Beloved Princess, so that's possible. 2: You need a devious player. That's where I see the most problem with this scenario.

Supposing we do have both, here's how it plays out. Player 1 gets both players abilities. Player 2 gets the same with one difference. His alignment says "mafia" and his role includes a line that says "your Mason friend thinks you're a townie". A quick claim from Player 2, calling out player 1, getting him killed. You're now a cleared mafia member.

BTW: I love making up scenarios, and will run through them in my mind. It leaves me paranoid and able to make out almost anyone as guilty. It's chaotic, but fun.

Blade: but if he shows up as innocent, he might be naive or still random. Showing up guilty also might mean a hidden miller. Or he might have been framed or bussed away. This is just what I've thought up without checking wikis. No matter what alignment he gets, he has to figure out WHAT it means. As such, curious what he thinks of what he got back.

Something to keep in mind, just because Masskid may be claiming sunglasses with Squirtle doesn't necessarily mean he is a doctor / protector. If you don't know the sunglasses squirtle's history that well, here you go :



Ignoring the fact he did join Ash at the end, I'd just like to point out Squirtle was his own little gang/mafia.

So personally - I'd wanna vote Masskid next on this but I'm not rushing it due to the fact he's on the road at the moment. I'd like to hear from him when he gets back home, even if it's going to be the random bickering.

What, did you actually investigate yourself? If so, are you claiming a cop that can see hidden modifiers, as Brett suggested? If you thought so, what were you looking for? If it was a hidden that doesn't tell you negative modfiers, what would be the point? I would like to hear what your theory on investigating yourself instead of looking for information was.

I said I'd vote for Mass if he didn't hard claim. Did he hardclaim? No. So should I have not followed up on what I said? I've had issues with Mass because he's been inactive. Why is it strange that I'd follow up on that after he continued to pretend to be active? My vote for him had jack to due with what you were saying about him. He still hasn't hardclaimed. This means he's not given us any information, just more speculation.

Also, you just outed yourself, for no particular reason.

I'm tryiny to figure out why you think everything is about you. Claiming the Day Report was about you. Claiming I'm a dancing monkey and you're turning the crank. Claiming we "forced" you into a role claim when all that was being asked for was flavour report. I'm halfway hoping What decided to make some gambles on Cyber. Expecting that it was decided that Ash takes his Pikachu EVERYWHERE, and that the Masons do equal the cop in this game... However, I'll remove my vote. I'm also highly curious why he's pushing for votes for me, but won't do it himself.

On Blade, I just figure he's 3rd party at worst. I'd rather find the mafia, and then, if after 2 mafia are down, we're still not done, look long and hard at him.

Also, using only gen 1 pokes, can't think of any other karaoke. However, using movies, or later gens, there are a few options. One of the pikachu shorts was actually largely about Meowth causing pokemon to sing and dance. But, I digress. Jiggly is the most likely.

I will also openly admit to being pushing doubt onto other people. This is not supposed to be cloak and dagger I'm doing. I have nothing to claim that would help prove myself innocent, so my best plan is to prove someone else more guilty.

Brett, who is "off the hook" all depends on what you think people have said, and what you think Cyber's done to us this time. I'm not going to be convinced by soft claims, but some are, for example. On the other end, if I thought Mikey was more devious than he is, I could convince myself HE was mafia. However, he's Mikey so I'm still fairly sure he's clear.
