not really. It was a poorly constructed list and anyone who goes by that alone clearly knows very little about the sport.

Its about marketability and popularity more than anything. Though AP did manage to drag the Vikes to a decent record despite a QB who couldn't complete a pass. Teams just go eight in the box against him and he still tears off 200 yard games.

No argument for him at #1. He took a terrible team with a terrible history of being terrible and made them only slightly a joke.

Rodgers at #6, however, is an embarrassment to the sport.

AP is a stand up and respectable person. I do how ever think #6 is an adequate spot for Rodgers. There is a handful of other players who made more of an impact them him. I also agree with the ponder thing... He has a shit long pass and i hope 1 of 2 things. He gets much better between this season and next or we start matt castle.

I also dont think AP will get as many yards this season. Pending Webbs ability to catch a ball and ponders ability to actually pass. Id say in the next two years vikings will be formidable, keep an eye out.

It's funny, someone was jsut asking what I think about the CFL and I said I don't really have a favorite team, but I Fucking Hate the French.

Well that just shows how little you actually know about football and makes any further arguments you make instantly flawed.

if AP gets his orange peanut...the vikings might get to .500, but that's the only way. joe webb's gonna have a few decent plays, maybe some trickeration, but he won't have enough consistency to make an impact. ponder will be decent, but he seems to me like one of those guys who needs a kickass tight end to do much of anything...and they don't have one. a good TE is the best friend of any young QB, so without that, without consistency at WR, defenses are free to attack AP who will fail without his orange peanut.
