    What an expensive and unpractical solution . I'm probably moving to Toronto in a couple of years meaning I'll be relatively close to Illinois, so Maaaaaaaybe. Well that's if I'm still playing CS:S then. Probably not.

    Australia isn't considered part of the first world? He's in Melbourne with a fiber connection to his house. I'd listen to StarsMine and first investigate / eliminate the aspects of your connection that you can control.

    Ctrl+Alt+Del -> Task Manager -> Processes -> look for the browser that says pornhub.com, right click and 'End Process Tree'. That usually fixes my ping.
