Brett, if an admin is talking shit to you. The proper way to handle it would be asking an admin to stop, and if the continue to do so, see if a clan/senior admin is on. If they are, ask them to come in for a minute or two and have them ask the admin in question to chill. If not, save the replay and post in admin abuse. If you allow them to troll you and flip out (and get kicked/banned because of it) this only exacerbates the issue instead of solving it. Disrespect is what causes most of the issues in the WCS server, imho. Provocation shouldn't be a valid defense. Just because a guy in a bar starts calling you names doesn't make it okay to beat the shit out of him. Remember, be the duck!

I do agree however, that replays, proper format, etc etc would all be boons.

The camping rule is pretty silly IMO, it has too many faults in it. There needs to be a set time that you MUST attempt the objective without any excuses otherwise i can take crypt lord sit in my spwn on italy on CT side spam my ult and say with 30 seconds left i shall move 1 inch and say "well i tried to get to the objective but either i died in the process or time ran out" making everyone wait on 1 or 2 people depending if they friends and both went same race to be funny. Telling people well as long as you attempt the objective its ok, that doesn't really solve anything, just makes it more confusing.

You should be pushed to do the objective with at least 1 minute left because that would be the AVG i would say that it takes to attempt the objective while using careful measurements to protect yourself so that you can actually reach the objective and complete it rather then being a kamikaze trying to rush and pretend you are attempting something instead of just suicide with 10 seconds left.

Even though this is WCS that does not mean that you get a free card to camp just because you play a defensive race, just like you shouldn't suicide just because you play offensive race. Some races are faster, some are slower, but the emphasis on winning the game will always be the same in objective based games, plant the bomb or rescue hosties are pretty strait forward objectives that should always be attempted or the maps become imbalanced and the whole point of the game goes out the window.

but as far as provocation goes, yes the better course of action is to keep a level head, but not everyone has that sort of restraint...and this is the internet. the way i see it, we need to take out any issues at the root. so if a player is provoked into breaking the rules, that needs to be considered and the provoker should bare the brunt of the punishment. now obviously in the case of tking or something, both parties will receive punishment, but the initial offender should have a heavier punishment.
