go to walmart, bestbuy, target etc and ask for compressed air or "air duster"

shit.... no clue on "dust sluge" I've yet 2 deal with such a thing.... best someone else who knows something give an opinion for that issue.

Run your vacuum with a hose attached when using that compressed air. Mineral oil and scotch brite for any oxidized surfaces.

Scotch brite and mineral oil also will remove the dust sludge.
good call. mineral oil is PC friendly and doesn't conduct electricity
