Hey all, been awhile..........

So I havent been around much for almost a year now. Was looking for a house last summer. Only to have everything fall through and ended up in an apartment. Got married in October. Moved a week later. No headset, as you may have noticed in my in game name. Had the holidays.

Then my family got all torn apart. My grandfather had altziemers, and dimentia. (spelling on both) He got really bad and was threatening my grandmother. My mother went to Tennessee to help calm the situation. (We are in Chicago suburbs.) Well, while my mom was down there, he shot my mom and grandmother multiple times. My mom, after being shot 4 times, was able to still get out the door, and take a 5th shot on her way out. She ran to a neighbors house and got help. They called the police and went to the scene. My grandfather killed himself as the police rolled up.

My grandmother and mom were airlifted to Vanderbilt in Nashville. My sister and I drove to Nashville and met my uncles who also drove down. My grandmother lasted 8 days until she passed away. My mom needed multiple surgeries, and had her pinky removed (what was left of it.). We stayed in TN for 8 weeks until she was well enough to come home.

This all started back in March. She is still recovering physically and emotionally. Ive been a wreck, and have come back to CS to let out a little steam. So hopefully I can get a headset and get back to hanging out with you guys.

Fish, I don't know you as it seems we never crossed paths in game or on the forums, but my sincere condolences go out to you and your family for the tragedy you've suffered. I can't even begin to imagine what that must have been like. My grandmother also suffers from dementia and is in the final stages of her life, so I have an idea of the pain that causes, but the violence is not something I've had to suffer thankfully. I wish I could offer more than my piddly apologies and sympathy but it's about the best I got.

I hope coming back to CS:S and IBIS can bring you some comfort.

Side note - fuck you Nemesis. Uncalled for and the most insensitive and cuntish thing you've ever said (and you've said a LOT of insensitive and cuntish things). You are one miserable human being dude.
