Ads in your ear during CSS gameplay!?

For the past month or so I thought I had a virus because I kept hearing 5-10 second clips of commercials in my ear while playing GG. I ran a virus scan and nothing came up flagged. I had asked around and noone else seemed to notice it. Today, it seems some other people are getting the ads as well. You could easily miss them if your volume is too loud, as they aren't overly loud and are rather short.

is anyone else getting them? I don't seem to notice it in any other game, either.

crazy, i was hearing some of those a while back, used this ( http://usa.kaspersky.com/downloads/tdsskiller ) and it seems to have stopped.

I havent heard any recently, but yes I have had this, particularly when i joined the server or at map change. Once I swear that the first window with ibis stuff was causing it, since that is kind of like an internet link thing, but not sure why it happened.

ive heard 4-5 people complain about it just today in the gg server. whatever is causing it has really amped it up.

Never had it happen, but yeah like Bert said, I would assume you have a virus or something. Stop dling porn from free sites Owns...see what you get...computer stds..

Ok at least twice a map now, ill get a shit ton of lag and ill faintly hear an ad in the background for about 5 seconds, this only happens on the server, so unless its a really specific virus that everybody has, its probably something from the server or steam
