You're absolutely right, I noticed that while i was writing them honestly.
but to be fair? for the amount of money that I paid, I probably got ripped off by 800$ more than if i built it myself, so i cant really brag about it...

and the honest to God reason why i posted those, is not about the bragging, but about the "sarcasm" factor, where I believe my rig is more than above average for CSS, and yet i keep getting this lag....
people then tell me "sure cyber, lag... didnt u just get a new gear and shit?"
or worse, when they tell me "oh it's <insert name of part>", and they simply dont know that everything is brand new and top of the line... and they don't believe me, so i was being sarcastic at my situation ...

just watch the demo guys and tell me what to work on fixing ? please and thank you.

What if you bought your own internet instead of relying on a hookah bar for connectivity.
I hit Brett right in the feels.

Well your first problem is using a model to try and connect to the internet. I would suggest the real thing.

Your canadian internet is really the only explanation other than your ethernet port or your router being fucked. and you're a dirty mexican. Thats my votes

From what I've read so far it sounds like it's neither your rig nor the server (otherwise there'd likely be more bitching)

try taking your PC to another location, something that dosen't use your internet, even if it's just next door

if it works fine, it's your router/modem/what have you, if not then perhaps the hub you're on is fucked up (i've read of sillier things happening)

try doing the same thing a town over, somewhere that most certainly does NOT use the same internet hub, if it hasn't improved and nobody else is complaining about your lag then it can't be server-sided and would have to be your rig
though it dosen't make any sense at all that you could overtax that rig to such an extent that you'd have problems i'd try to find the slowest mechanism of action or do some more software troubleshooting

maybe play TF2, another very similar game, running on the same engine, doing a lot of the same stuff internet connection wise, and if the lag goes away it's the CS:S game files for whatever reason (or the location the files are, the solid state i mean) if not then play a game that is nowhere near similar to CS:S (like an mmorpg not on steam, guild wars, WoW, TERA, something) if lag then possibly the network card, if not then ... well you see what i'm doing here

and if it STILL is fucked up then i'll quit my IT job and work as a janitor for a preschool -_-

thank you for an amazing response. I will try to test out my variables... moving my CM stryker tower around the country might not be the smartest thing i could right now though :P, but yeah, i see your logic...

problem is that my lags are completely random as fuck, sometimes i have amazing gameplays (so amazing that i cant even control my mouse jitter bcos of how sensitive everything is when it's working perfectly), but then sometimes i start lagging and skipping frames at low impacts, such as my motion being a bit "iffy"... and then there are THOSE days like the demo above, where everything just goes fuck-all...

so i need to wait it out, see if i notice any patterns between my lags and my universal pc/router/internet/isp/game state.
