Been playing more recently since a week now, and all see is the same old maps coming back in sometimes lesser then 2 hours, mostly ze. now i know majority likes ze but at-least put some variety in it.

Mines of moria, huge overplayed and constantly when possible being nominated, it is a huge pain. people leave because of the con stand same supply of maps. Same goes for Death star all jurresicpark maps and Indiana Jones and icecap escape (hontestly icap is so dull since we don't have para, we run 6 minutes never see a zombie till the end if well played BOOOORING). We got plenty of other good ZE maps, i will name a couple.

Ze firewall maps
ze Biohazard
ze infected Sewers
Ze Warp
ze infeltration
ze random
ze zombierig



And some more i probaly forget, Each morning when there some players left i try to guide them trough these maps in hope they learn, because majority don't want to play maps they don't know. Also same goes for some zm maps. We need lesser Movie name maps and more other maps, otherwise we will go into endless circle of the same maps everyday all week.

So please if you play zombie regular, and want to nominate stuff, try nominate the above.

wrong. we have like 3 good escape maps. voodoo and one of the jurassic park maps, and the pirates of the carribean map. all other ZEs are fucking terrible.

I have to agree with aco, although my opinion is biased as zm is the best kind of map. Most of the ze maps that have been added are brutal, they require a level of teamwork that is now impossible on the server and several are just plain terrible. Too many of them get boring after only a couple rounds and empty the server when they are voted. I enjoy some of the ze maps, the classics and some of the truly original ones like paranoid, but as said most are just bad.

Yes, i'm more of a zm guy too, and i agree on that u 2 say, yet i also have to deal with the fact that this is not the past. I simply don't want to play the same ze maps over and over again. so if i got to choose between downright shit or a little bit shit, i will choose the last option, the good option is gone long ago with all the people who have left zm.

Well guys N gals maybe we should talk with the ULA or Clan about putting in a better map rotation system, because i have seen days where people keep nominating the same maps over and over and over again. I think maybe if a map has been played with in the last 10 play list it should not be able to be nominated just to keep things fresh for everyone.

This is just a thought, if you have any ideas post them and we can have the ULA or Clan over see and give there thoughts, N maybe when all is said and done everyone can be happy.

I would really like it if the server would not go to any map played in the last X maps (I leave the number open to tweaking). Obviously admin map changes would overrule that. If I play on the server for a couple hours, it's virtually guaranteed I'll be playing repeat maps. That usually just makes me quit, unless I particularly like the map - which is highly unlikely with the garbage that the ZE whores vote for.

Isn't it like this already? Or is this just in GG mod? I was under the impression (even in ZM) if a map was played, when you nominate, you cannot nominate that map since it has been recently played.

I'd also like to note, I know LOTR maps are always on map votes, and it does seem dull to play, but you all have to admit LOTR maps bring in a SHIT load of people.

I don't know if it does or does not do this for nominate, or how far back it might go, but the automatic map selection certainly has no such thing in its algorithm. It's commonplace to see the same maps come up in random map votes as have been played within the last 10 or fewer, and they ALWAYS get voted for by the stupid map whores.

Also problematic is the number of total shit maps on ZM, though... maybe need to start going through and culling those. I can understand people not wanting to go to something they don't know when there's a 70-80% chance of it being complete garbage (especially an issue with ZM maps, which I don't think helps their already reduced popularity).

I am fairly sure that there is a system to stop maps being voted several times in a small period of time, however when I see a map played recently after it was played it was because an admin who just came on changed it to that. Its not just the rotation of maps that is the problem its the people voting. There is almost always at least one halfways decent map up for vote, whether random or nominated, people just chose to vote for the overplayed pieces of shit. This current generation of zm players do not actually know what half the maps on the server are and continue to vote for the few maps they do, which are sadly the overplayed ones and the big name maps like Lotr. The easiest solution is to nominate those good maps you wish to play and show other players how good those maps are. I always nominate a underplayed but good map in the hopes that it gets voted but it is almost always drowned in the votes of the current favorites.

TL;DR Server is mostly full of new players. These people only know some maps and will keep voting for these maps. Why would they vote for a map they don't know? Just keep nominating and eventually it will spread as people learn the maps. If you need to group with the other experienced players in-server to help get your map voted then do so.
