the server did have a system setup to stop maps from being able to be played again after a sum of time, how ever with all the RTV if maps are RTV'ed more than 2 times it alows it resets the system and you can land right back on the same map after only 3 map changes. I dont think this is how it is made to work but that is what i have seen.

I'd also like to note, I know LOTR maps are always on map votes, and it does seem dull to play, but you all have to admit LOTR maps bring in a SHIT load of people.

You are correct on that. LOTR and Titanic always bring the ppl in.

Well that is true, and that is the only good think those maps do. maybe some maps need a name change like there maps who can clearly use resident evil in it or something then it would attract people to. just merchandise, popular names sells so why not change them. as some maps are ovbuis maps from cool movies or games but got shitty names.

I think there are a lot of good maps to be played on the server both old and new. my major concern in addition to the same map rotation is the numerous times the server crashes due to overload. majority of new maps crash with more than 25 players on. when it does crash we end up losing a lot of players and get stuck on ATIX until we repeat the cycle of old maps that the server can handle without multiple crashes. Also I seem to notice that the majority of players are band wagon jumpers and will vote for what ever map the "loudest" player on the server wants. my query is, "what would it take to prevent server from crashing?" and "can we please change the server default away from ATIX?"

Keep atix as default. It's a classic map, everyone know's it, and depending on the players, wins can go either to humans or zombie. Perfect default map.

ATIX is classic especially now zero fixed it, I miss 4away tunnel tough that map should be put back into again.

Never really played it much until tonight but the updated Indiana Jones map is great. Has 3 levels on normal and then 3 on Extreme. Love the music on extreme levels, need those 3 different songs on other map
