    I agree with Pierogi. If there is a day devoted to ZE, then it's only right there is a day devoted to ZM as well. For the ZE though, I would like to see toaster,shroomforest, and helms deep.

    This sounds like a great idea, another community I was in for Natural Selection 1 called "NSArmslab" Used todo this quite a lot actually on maps called "Tunnels" Basically one load tunnel, LOTS of res and just mass productivity can never remember the name though properly.

    Could we make it Friday / Saturday? Sunday would be bad for me England... >.<

    Maybe some sort of vote that can only come up on defined maps that will allow you all to dramatically increase the map time before a vote comes up. Or perhaps an bridged rcon command that will allow admins to keep extending a map.

    Bridged rcon for time extension would be good. We actually brought it up today, lot of people are down for this and keep asking when it will happen.
    I'm stoked and ready if we do a ZE night

    A bridged rcon command would work fantastic. The only problem that I can think of happening is having the server crash for no reason and set us back to level one. We had to do that with Isengard today. The crashing seems to be happening a lot as of late. Also a lot of peoples CSS are crashing mid game too while on our server.

    I also nominate we do this on Saturday. Start it at noon eastern time and end it at midnight. So everyone can stay up late and not have to worry about working early on Monday.

    But here is of what I think we should, in order:

    • Paper Escape
    • Shroom
    • Toaster
    • Isengard
    • Minas Tirith
    • Skyrim
    • Crash Bandicoot
    • Mako Reactor


    The thing about doing a hard ZE map run is that we have never fully beaten these maps. With ZE maps, they take a while to beat but with ZM maps, it's simple to survive if you know basic barricading. How would you guys propose we do a ZM day? Just have a pre-set map list and go from map to map?

    Yes the crashing is a huge prob, i think it got something to do with people constantly spamming those sounds as i always crash when it overloads on sounds.

    the HLDJ spams may be a factor why the server crashes/other players css crashes, but I do not believe it is the main contributing factor of the crashing.
    In my opinion looking at majority crashes/other players css crashing, it is when a mass of people talk in the mic at once (not just hldj spam) and/or when a group of humans are in one hold point and a swarm of zombies come followed by 3+ nades. With the nade blowing up and new explosion effect, I feel this is what is causing a lot of the crashes.

    Yes.

    If we still have ze_prototype_v2, we should add prototype to that map list.

    pre-set map list could do it

    I'm just tired of playing icecap, rooftop, moria, voodo, sorento every day. If the server is full people constantly chose escape maps and even when we get zm map it is usually one of the overplayed ones like atix, beachstike, lilia_beach or desert_fortess. Apparently the server function which prevents same maps from constantly being nominated isn't working very well. Another annoyance is that when an uncommon cade map gets through, it is quickly RTV'd or changed by the admin. So, a day event when we can barricade all we want would be nice.
