Event: finish hard maps!

ok i know some people are really eager to finish maps like schroom, minas tirith and some other new hard maps. I'm not sure who can increase map time. but i would like to organise a day where we will play a map till we either drop dead of being tired of finish it till the end. I just would love to see some maps finished and i know there more people out there who would gladly accept this challenge.

I'm not sure if it is possible, maybe with some help from a clan we can make this happens. any toughts? let me know.

I'm down for ze-day. Set like a sunday/funday (once football season if over of course). If ZERO allows us, this could actually be really fun, improve team work, and grow IBIS ZM. But we would have to let regulars/newcomers know what's going on X day.
Set a list of maps we would play, and somehow get time extension until beaten, or until 100% agrees for new map.

Yeah I thought about Sunday too, i definitely would love to do this.

Best way to help this going is to get ZM players on the forums (not just admins, but regulars as well). So get them to register on the forums, and have them going on this topic discussion as well, I.E. what maps they would like, what needs to be done as humans for team work, hold points etc.

That way, if we do get the "thumbs up " from ZERO, those who are on the forums know whats going on and can spread the word as well.

I love this idea. I remember when the GLF server played Minas Tirith for like 7 hours straight. Zero would need to do rcon command for timelimit so we could extend the map. I'm all for this. I want to beat Minas Tirith for once in my life.

If it's on Sunday, and ppl go to church we'll get them to pray. Sounds like a lot of fun I am definitely down for that. I have a couple of days off, so once we get approval and a date, I can help with promoting and speaking with regular IBIS Players, etc.

I was actually thinking of getting a day event with no escape maps

Anyway, for escape I recommend: christmas, random, isengard, helms deep, shroomforest, toaster
