    this reminds me, i need to do a full mirror backup of my laptop's harddrive sonner rather than later, no telling when this kinda stuff could happen

    The one that burnt up was a 2.5in 500GB 5400 RPM Seagate. Found some on Newegg for an average of 50$. I'll eventually get one and reformat when I have some cash to spare. Kids and bills tend to sway priorities. Lol
