It has finally died

My beloved Dell Dimension E521 has finally died. It is still running, but the screen is super low res with a bunch of static and lines through it, and it frequently freezes up and crashes, sometimes wont even boot up. I have successfully transferred all of my files to a portable harddrive, so no losses that i can tell of.

Anywho, I need a new computer and would like some help/suggestions. I currently sported an amd athlon 64 dual core and had two gigs of ddr memory, so I would like an upgrade from that, but it doesnt need to be amazing or anything, just something that can handle the new games decently enough. I do not know how to assemble or build a computer so buying things piecemeal aint gonna work for me, so any suggestions on a place to get a good model or build would be much appreciated, kind of want to keep it around the 600-800 dollar mark if that is feasible.

My tower is from them because I was too damn lazy to make my own. I got the tower and keyboard & mouse was complimentary. So yeah you can just get a tower from them. Paid $900 for my tower.

So i don't know what im looking at when i look at that stuff, im guessing like any of the models they have there will have the ability to play source and GO, and NS2 and the like without issue?

Any of their computers are more than capable of supporting source, go, ns2, and any other steam game you can imagine. My computer handles shit like D3 on full graphics and then optimized conditions through my graphics card. I have one I'm going to order soon, with an additional graphics card and 8 core processor. But that will be in due time. Kind of expensive.

Essentially set it up basic, and if you want to pretty much just be capable of playing those games and a few others that may catch your attention then set it up around the same specs as mine. But the case and shit like that don't have to be fancy. If you run into any issues on the ordering just drop your questions here and I can try to walk you through a lil better.

Ok, probably place an order this weekend, not desperate yet, but want to replace my pc pretty quickly. Do those things get wifi?

They aren't standard with the computers, however it is an option under the accessories tab close to the bottom, you have your choice of an internal or external wireless card. You will have to pay extra for it, so it is all about preference and what you are willing to spend.
