I'm still reading through stuff but even without decent information wouldn't it be good to lynch someone? I guess I dont understand why its sometimes a great thing to do and sometimes not. Also can we stop talking about past games? I feel like its kinda pointless to talk about how someone did good in a past game and someone did terrible.. you have a small sample size and unless you are trying to determine someones allegiance by their habits in a past game, it really serves no purpose that I can see. Seems like people just want to bitch IMO.
It is a heavily debated topic. Lynching is the primary way town has of gaining information and killing scum. Without it you go into night blind so what ever types of role blocking/investigative types are more likely to miss which means you are more likely to still have no new information.
I fixed it for you Mikey!Originally Posted by DJ_MikeyRevile

Phil, I didn't say it was iffy. I said it was a highly debated topic. Lynching is the primary way to gather information for the town. Who voted for whom. Who wanted to vote for that person and their reasoning. If you do not lynch on day 1 mafia gets a free kill and it is highly likely that any investigative roles will not find out anything useful.
